Mintrocket has made a splash with some updates on its cult hit fish-’em-up, Dave the Diver.
The game was unexpectedly released on Xbox, and a new trailer gives a sneak peek at the upcoming downloadable content, ‘In the Jungle,’ showcasing fresh gameplay.
“In the Jungle” was revealed late last year, and it moves Dave and his friends from the familiar Blue Hole to a completely different setting.
You’ll continue to explore and catch unusual creatures, but now the action moves to freshwater environments. This opens up opportunities to find new kinds of fish, along with new dangers and likely some unique gameplay features.
Watch on YouTubeThe new downloadable content is coming out in early 2026, so you won’t have to wait much longer to continue the story.
On top of that, Mintrocket has also announced a physical retail edition of Dave the Diver.
The game will be released on PlayStation 5 in 2026, and the release will include both the original game and the ‘In the Jungle’ downloadable content. Details about pre-ordering and where to buy it will be announced later, which is great news for players who prefer to buy physical copies of games.
