HITMAN World of Assassination Elusive Target mission ‘Eminem vs. Slim Shady’ launches December 1

IO Interactive is offering a free, limited-time mission in HITMAN World of Assassination called “Eminem vs. Slim Shady” throughout December. Players can try it from December 1st to 31st.

Eminem vs. Slim Shady: Playable for free starting December 1

Eminem is teaming up with the game HITMAN World of Assassination in a unique mission where he plays both himself and his notorious alter ego, Slim Shady. While his recent album suggested he was trying to leave Slim Shady behind, he’s now enlisting Agent 47 to finish the job for good. Created with IO Interactive and Paul Rosenberg, the new mission takes place in a warped version of a Hokkaido medical facility, transformed into the unsettling Popsomp Hills Asylum. Players, as Agent 47, must hunt down Slim Shady through locations like his radio studio, all while remaining undetected. The mission is filled with references to Eminem’s music, including a poisoned plate of his famous Mom’s Spaghetti and a performance of his song “Houdini.”

The Season of Eminem vs. Slim Shady: Live Updates, Free for HITMAN World of Assassination Players

The next update will kick off with the ‘Eminem vs. Slim Shady’ season, adding fresh content and a new Elusive Target for players. Expect two new challenges, two sets of Featured Contracts, and the return of three previously available Elusive Targets, including ‘The Splitter’ starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. We’re also bringing back popular events like Holiday Hoarders and the Hokkaido Snow Festival. Players can unlock two exclusive items – the Bomb-Ass Dynamite and the Solstice Suit – by watching thirty minutes of HITMAN World of Assassination streams on Twitch during designated times as Twitch Drops.

HITMAN World of Assassination Coming to New Platforms

Today, IO Interactive revealed that HITMAN World of Assassination is coming to the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X on December 1st. Players on these devices will immediately be able to try out a new Elusive Target mission featuring Eminem versus Slim Shady. Plus, the game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning you can play on either your Xbox console or PC with all your progress and achievements carrying over.

You can now play HITMAN World of Assassination on PlayStation 5 (with VR2 compatibility), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch (through cloud streaming), PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), and iOS devices.
