Street Fighter 6 is a sublime fighting game, so it’s reassuring to see it continue to sell so well.
Since launching in 2023, the game has consistently achieved strong sales, and has now sold over six million copies.
The game had already sold 5.7 million copies by September 30th, and it’s now sold an additional 300,000 copies since then.
The game launched on the Switch 2 earlier this year, which likely boosted its performance. It’s also consistently popular on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, thanks to ongoing updates and new characters added regularly.
As we mentioned in our Street Fighter 6 PS5 review, we continue to believe this is one of the best fighting games available on PlayStation consoles.
Street Fighter 6 is a fantastic sequel! Capcom has delivered a fighting game with plenty of strategic depth for experienced players, but it’s surprisingly accessible for newcomers. The game includes helpful features to teach new players, like a simpler control option and excellent tutorials, even within the engaging single-player story mode. With a solid initial character lineup, incredibly smooth online play, and tons of content – including fun, retro-style games in the online lobbies – Street Fighter 6 is another impressive achievement from Capcom.
