Following the unusual partnership between Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Dead by Daylight, Ubisoft has announced another surprising collaboration – this time with the hit anime and manga Attack on Titan. Players will be able to dress their character, Naoe, in an outfit inspired by Mikasa Ackerman and equip her with a corresponding weapon.
But there’s more! A new quest sends Naoe and Yasuke into the treacherous Crystal Cave, a location filled with dangerous cliffs. They’re looking into a frightening experiment, and it looks like they might even have to fight a Titan – the game’s signature syringe and transformation effects strongly suggest a boss battle is coming.
So, what’s Yasuke’s role in all of this? He’s getting a new armor set designed with a massive, almost intimidating look, complete with a strange, unsettling smile. Does it really fit? Not particularly. And it’ll probably be expensive. Regardless, fresh content is coming soon – Ubisoft says it’s available tomorrow.
The update also introduces Naoe’s unique take on the War Kick, and Yasuke can now defeat enemies without killing them. Plus, a new, more comedic story arc called “A Puzzlement” has been added.
Adding to the news, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set to come out on December 2nd for the Nintendo Switch 2. However, the Claws of Awaji expansion won’t be available at launch and is planned for release in 2026.
