The popular comedy show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown is getting some new faces! Comedians Rob Beckett and Judi Love will be joining the show as regular panelists.

Beckett will be the permanent team captain for the 29th season of the Channel 4 show, and Love will be a regular guest on the program.

Jimmy Carr will be back to host, and regular panelists Jon Richardson and Joe Wilkinson will join him, along with familiar faces Rachel Riley and Susie Dent, in the new series.

The new line-up will debut with a Christmas 2025 special and continue into the next season.

The next set of episodes will feature appearances by Daisy May Cooper, Katherine Ryan, Harriet Kemsley, Richard Ayoade, Morgana Robinson, Nick Mohammed, and Roisin Conaty.

Comedian Lovell, who recently appeared on ‘Last One Laughing UK’ with other stars, is thrilled to join ‘8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’ as a regular. She joked about her math skills, predicting the show will be filled with fun, errors, and plenty of laughter, and expressed her excitement to begin.

8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, a funny combination of the comedy show 8 Out of 10 Cats and the quiz show Countdown, first aired in 2012 and has been popular with audiences ever since.

Carr has been the host of the show since it began, and Riley and Dent will be doing what they’re known for on Countdown: Riley managing the letters and numbers, and Dent offering definitions from Dictionary Corner.

Daisy May Dent is joining the cast of Taskmaster’s New Year Treat, adding to her already busy schedule with another popular Channel 4 show.

8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown will air a Christmas special on Channel 4.
