The long-running show Neighbours is coming to an end, and it’s been filled with many memorable scenes.
Our recent poll revealed that fans overwhelmingly chose Scott and Charlene’s wedding (featuring Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue) as the greatest moment in the history of Ramsay Street, back in 2022.
He later had a moving spiritual experience, feeling connected to his late wife, Madge (played by Anne Charleston). The tragic plane crash that took the life of his son, David, was also remembered.

The episode also featured Bouncer the dog’s fantastical dream, a touching proposal from Hendrix Greyson (Ben Turland) to Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone), and the ongoing drama surrounding Fake Dee.
You voted, and the clear winner was Scott and Charlene’s wedding, with nearly half of all votes! Everything else received much less support – only Susan Kennedy confronting Karl about his affair came close, earning 11 percent of the votes.
Scott and Charlene’s wedding in 1987 was a huge event, watched by two million people in Australia. When the episode finally aired in the UK, over a year later, it drew an incredible 20 million viewers! It’s no wonder you consider their wedding such a special moment.
Donovan, who returned to the show in 2022 for what everyone thought was the last episode, shared his gratitude, saying, “Thank you to everyone who voted Scott and Charlene’s wedding as the best moment in Neighbours history!”
He continued, saying it was a real honor to join the incredible cast who have contributed so much to the show over the years.

We’re incredibly grateful to all the Neighbours fans who have supported the show over the years. You made it possible for us to create television history and bring joy to viewers for decades.
With the sun setting on Erinsborough, a reunion is happening! While the biggest stars won’t be back, many beloved characters are returning for the final episodes, which air in under two weeks.
As a long-time fan, I was really disappointed to hear the show got cancelled again earlier this year. It’s been off the air a few times over the last 40 years, but this time, Amazon MGM decided not to order any more episodes after reaching 460 – which honestly feels like a pretty good run, but still! It’s sad to see it go.

Filming wrapped up in July, and executive producer Jason Herbison shared that ‘Neighbours’ is a beloved show. He expressed his team’s pride in creating recent seasons for its dedicated fans worldwide, adding 460 episodes to the show’s impressive total of over 9,000.
As a long-time fan, it’s great to see things wrapping up on Ramsay Street with a sense of optimism. It feels like they’re leaving the door open for what could happen next, which is really exciting! They’re giving us a little hope for the future of these characters, and I appreciate that.
