Stranger Things Cast Agrees Which Season Was the Worst

Now that the first part of the final season of Stranger Things has been released, the cast recently participated in a fun interview with Vanity Fair. In this ‘Hot Seat’ interview, one cast member was chosen at random to answer questions on behalf of the entire group.

Millie Bobby Brown puts Stranger Things Season 2 at the bottom of her list

The stars of Stranger Things – Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard – recently played a game with Vanity Fair called Hot Seat. The first question they tackled was ranking all the seasons of Stranger Things from best to worst.

When the camera focused on Millie Bobby Brown, she was asked to share her favorite seasons of Stranger Things. After a moment of thought, she revealed, “Season 1 is my favorite, followed by Season 5.” She then continued ranking them, saying, “Then Season 3, Season 4, and finally Season 2.”

Brown shared that while Season 1 holds a special place in her heart due to personal nostalgia, she considers Season 5 her overall favorite because of its visuals, atmosphere, and storyline. She admitted she doesn’t have strong memories of Season 2, making it her least favorite. She also jokingly noted that Episode 7 is universally disliked.

Noah Schnapp and Gaten Matarazzo both defended the second season of the show, disagreeing with those who criticized it. Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, said he thinks the season gets unfairly criticized, and Matarazzo simply called it “underrated.”

The final season of Stranger Things is now available on Netflix! Volume 1, with the first four episodes, is streaming now. Volume 2, containing the next three episodes, will be released on December 25, 2025, followed by the series finale on December 31, 2025.
