10) Palpatine Let Mace Windu Win on Purpose

Essentially, this interpretation suggests that the entire Sith training process is a scheme created by Bane to ensure his own unending existence.
5) R2-D2 Is Secretly A Galactic Puppet Master
Everyone loves R2-D2, but some fans believe he’s more than just a helpful droid. They think he’s actually been subtly controlling both the Empire and the Rebels throughout the entire war, appearing at key moments to manipulate events from behind the scenes.
This unusual idea is strengthened by the fact that R2-D2 consistently manages to keep his memory intact throughout the entire Star Wars story. This allows him to provide crucial information about the Skywalker family and the Empire’s rise whenever it’s needed. Plus, he frequently acts on his own, like when he played Leia’s message for Luke to encourage him to train Rey – behavior that seems too complex for a typical astromech droid.
This idea dramatically reshapes the entire Star Wars story. Instead of just being a faithful helper to the Jedi, R2-D2 would be revealed as a manipulator who secretly caused the Empire’s downfall to achieve his own goals. Some fans even believe R2-D2 is actually controlled by the spirit of Darth Plagueis, seeking vengeance against Palpatine. If true, this would completely change how we see all of R2-D2’s scenes, giving them a much darker meaning.
4) The Knights of Ren Were Luke’s Surviving Students
The Knights of Ren appear as dark, religiously-motivated villains devoted to Kylo Ren and the eradication of the Jedi. However, if they were actually Luke Skywalker’s former students who didn’t succeed, their story is less about malice and more about heartbreaking failure.
It’s believed the Knights of Ren weren’t formally trained, unlike Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) who studied under Luke Skywalker before his fall to the dark side. However, this would also mean Yoda violated the Jedi rule against romantic relationships, significantly altering his character.
