The number one competitive mouse to buy on Cyber Monday is here — Become the best version of yourself

I’ve been playing competitive games for years, and somehow ended up with a significant online following without even noticing. Through all that experience – from when I was sponsored to those high-pressure moments playing with friends – I’ve really learned how important having quality equipment is.

I’ve tested a lot of mice over the years – everything from older SteelSeries Kizus and Zowies to different versions of the Logitech Superlight. That’s why I was so interested in the Razer Viper V3 Pro. It’s a really good-looking mouse, but more importantly, it’s actually improved how I play.

I used Logitech Pro X Superlight mice – both the first and second versions – for years and never considered any other brands. I was completely loyal to Logitech, but that changed when my Superlight started developing a double-clicking issue.

I don’t fault Logitech—mice don’t last forever, and sometimes they fail prematurely. But needing a replacement led me to discover the Razer Viper V3 Pro. You can find a detailed review of it elsewhere.

I’d always disliked the Deathadder series, so I was hesitant, but I decided to give this one a chance. I ordered it on Amazon, and soon enough, I was holding it.

I was immediately struck by how lightweight this mouse is – even lighter than the Superlight series, which was surprising! Beyond the weight, it also feels really comfortable to hold and use, with a great ergonomic shape.

As part of my research, I tested the Razer Viper 3 Pro’s polling rate, and the results were impressive. Moving to 8KHz felt like a significant jump in responsiveness – a huge improvement over the standard 1KHz. While a higher polling rate does demand more from the CPU, I found that anything between 4KHz and 8KHz delivered an incredibly smooth and almost unreal experience.

I’ve been using a 4KHz polling rate for a few months now, and it’s been perfect for me – it gives me great performance, long battery life, and efficient CPU usage. It helped me achieve Diamond rank in my first season of Rainbow Six Siege X, and more importantly, it’s given me a level of confidence with my mouse that I’ve never experienced before.

If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line mouse and don’t mind spending a bit more, the Razer Viper V3 Pro is an excellent choice. It’s perfect as a treat for yourself or a gift for a competitive friend who deserves the best!
