Jana Kramer Says Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim Once Asked Her Out

Jason Oppenheim couldn’t quite cut a deal with Jana Kramer.

When asked if any guests on her podcast, Whine Down, had made romantic advances, the One Tree Hill actress was prompted by a producer who suggested Selling Sunset’s star, who was a guest on the show in May 2022.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was listening to the podcast, and Jana totally spilled! She was laughing, but she said Jason flirts with everyone! It’s just… it’s so him, you know? She even said ‘I love you, Jason,’ but then immediately followed it up with how he’s a flirt! I mean, I already knew, obviously, but hearing her say it? It just confirms everything! He’s just so charming, he can’t help it! I’m obsessed.

But, as she recalled, the 48-year-old did more than just flirt during their conversation.

She admitted he was a very kind person, but also revealed he had asked her on a date. She’d actually forgotten about it until now, but it happened live on the air.

Okay, so it didn’t turn into a thing, but honestly, getting to know him was amazing! Jana – you guys know she’s a mom to Roman, who’s the cutest two-year-old, plus Jolie and Jace from her previous marriage to Mike – said he was just so respectful. Seriously, she really liked that about him, and they ended up hanging out as friends after that. I’m totally shipping it, even if it’s just a friendly vibe!

She mentioned they’d had lunch with a friend, explaining she was introducing him to their realtor, who she described as a very kind person.

Although Jason’s idea didn’t work out, it ultimately led to Jana meeting her future husband. They started dating in fall 2022 and got married in July 2024. Interestingly, Jana’s husband, Allan, later joined her on the radio to openly discuss personal topics, explaining why he doesn’t believe in masturbation.
