George Clooney recently shared in an IMDb video which movie credit he thinks he’s most remembered for. He jokingly claimed it should be his part in Batman & Robin, adding that he was the “best Batman.”

In a recent interview, George Clooney was asked what role he thought he’d be remembered for most. He jokingly replied, “Probably Batman & Robin, right?” He then added with a laugh that he considered himself the best Batman.
Clooney was quick to explain he was just kidding when he claimed to be the best Batman. He said he often makes the joke, and people always react with disbelief, questioning how he could possibly say that.
As a lifelong movie fan, I’ve always found George Clooney’s honesty about Batman & Robin refreshing. He’s famously joked for years about how much he disliked his performance and the film itself – he even told GQ he was terrible in it, which he said gave him license to point out everything else that didn’t work, like those infamous “Freeze, Freeze!” lines! It was surprising, though, to see him briefly reprise the role for a cameo in The Flash with Ezra Miller – a fun little moment considering all his previous comments.
George Clooney’s latest movie, ‘Jay Kelly’ directed by Noah Baumbach, is already getting excellent reviews. It will be available to stream on Netflix starting December 5, 2025.
