Julia Roberts is in awe of her kids growing older.
Julia Roberts recently celebrated her twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, turning 21 with her husband, Danny Moder. She says it’s amazing how fast time has passed.
Oh my gosh, she was just saying how incredible it is to watch her kids grow up! She told Entertainment Tonight – I was there in spirit, obviously – that it’s amazing to see any child mature, but especially your own. She even mentioned Luca Guadagnino, he spends time with them too, and she said they both love hearing what the kids think about everything. It’s just…so beautiful and heartwarming to hear her talk about them like that!
Just a few days before, the Academy Award-winning actress—who is also a mother to 18-year-old Henry—shared an adorable throwback photo of her twins as babies on their birthday, and wrote a touching message about how much they’ve grown.
She celebrated a milestone on Instagram, writing, “It feels like just yesterday there was one of you, and now there are twenty-one!” She added, “Time flies! Happy Birthday to my loves.”
For years, the 58-year-old has intentionally kept her children’s lives private, rarely sharing details with the public. She’s even said that posting old photos online is actually a way to offer small, controlled updates without overexposing them.
In a December 2023 interview with Extra, she explained that she understands Instagram is generally used for sharing positive moments. She added that it lets her celebrate her children’s achievements as a proud parent while still respecting their privacy.
Julia and Danny, married since 2002, are adjusting to life with their kids now that they’ve all moved out. While it’s a change for them as parents, the actress enjoys any time she gets to spend with her family.
She admitted everyone believes their children are wonderful, but she feels the same way about hers. Speaking on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in October, she shared that she genuinely enjoys spending time with them.
