Each year during the Christmas season, movie lovers always seem to argue about whether certain popular films actually qualify as Christmas movies. The most common example is ‘Die Hard,’ but ‘Batman Returns’ also often sparks debate.
The new Tim Burton film featuring Michael Keaton as Batman takes place during the Christmas season, complete with snow and holiday decorations. However, some viewers debate whether the winter setting is enough to classify it as a true Christmas movie.
She was initially a bit confused, but she eventually figured things out.
“ Hmm,” she said after a long pause. “I don’t really think of it as a Christmas film.”
After a moment of hesitation, she said, “No, I don’t think so… actually, I definitely wouldn’t call it that.”
Just then, Denis Leary, who also starred in “Oh. What. Fun,” chimed in, explaining that he loved Batman. He said, “If that qualifies as a Christmas movie, count me in!”
Pfeiffer described it as a Tim Burton-style Christmas, comparing it to The Nightmare Before Christmas before trailing off mid-sentence.
So it seems Catwoman is very much not in the ‘Batman Returns is a Christmas movie’ camp.

In the film Oh. What. Fun, Michelle Pfeiffer stars as Claire Clauster, a woman who feels unappreciated by her family during the holidays. They only realize how much she does when she unexpectedly goes missing. The movie also features Felicity Jones, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Jason Schwartzman.
The movie begins by pointing out that while many Christmas films focus on fathers, there aren’t nearly as many about mothers – and Michelle Pfeiffer believes this will resonate with audiences.
She believes the film will connect with a lot of people, and that viewers will be able to relate to the story and characters.
As a mom, I completely understand how much work goes into making holidays special. It’s not just Christmas – it’s Thanksgiving, birthdays, and really any celebration. It takes months of planning and effort, and moms often don’t get enough recognition for everything they do behind the scenes.
