Hasbro is releasing more collectible figures as the year ends, and Star Wars Black Series fans have something new to look forward to, particularly those who like to collect figures to create armies. The new 2-pack features a Phase I Assault Trooper (Coruscant Guard) and a Battle Droid Officer (Training), inspired by the 2017 Star Wars Battlefront II video game. You can pre-order it now exclusively on Amazon for $55.99, and it’s scheduled to ship on April 1st.
This set, part of the Gaming Greats collection, includes a trooper figure with two blasters and a removable helmet, plus a battle droid with a blaster and antenna. The battle droid is designed with the white and gold coloring of its training skin from the game, and the trooper features the red Coruscant Guard design. As a big Star Wars collector, I was excited to see the Vintage Collection: Court Denizens set is back in stock at Entertainment Earth for $79.99 with free shipping! It’s a fantastic set of 3.75-inch figures – you get Velken Tezeri, Taym Dren-garen, Ree-Yees, and the wonderfully named Tessek (aka Squid Head). Each figure comes individually carded and includes accessories, which is a nice touch.
