Kylie Jenner can rise and shine with more ease these days.
Kylie Jenner, 28, recently shared that she had stem cell therapy to treat persistent back pain she developed after having her son. She is also mom to 7-year-old Stormi and 3-year-old Aire, both with her ex, Travis Scott.
I was really struggling to find something that worked for me, and honestly, seeing my sister Kim have such a positive experience with a certain treatment gave me the push to reach out to Dr. Adeel Khan. I feel so lucky to have had the access and resources to explore this option, and it’s made a real difference in my journey. It’s important to remember everyone’s body is unique, but for me, this has been a major step forward in feeling better.
She emphasized the importance of doing your own research and consulting with doctors and other medical experts, but also wanted to share her experience in case it could be helpful to others.
The photos reveal the 28-year-old beauty entrepreneur smiling from her hospital bed, along with the bandages on her lower back following the medical procedure.
Kylie’s announcement about stem cell therapy follows Kim and Khloe Kardashian sharing their experiences with similar treatments from Dr. Khan, which they used to manage long-term pain, just three months ago.

Okay, so I’ve been following Khloe for ages, and she just got this incredible stem cell treatment! Apparently, she’s super dedicated to her workouts, and she got it to help with recovery, reduce inflammation, and just feel amazing overall. But honestly? The best part, according to her, is that it’s like a secret weapon against aging! I’m seriously obsessed and need to know everything about it – it sounds like a miracle!
After traveling to Mexico for treatment, she shared on social media that she hopes similar care will one day be available and affordable for everyone, no matter where they live. She emphasized how fortunate she felt to have been able to receive the treatment and appreciated the excellent care she received.
Kim also shared how she healed a torn shoulder and found relief from years of chronic back pain.

Kim immediately felt a difference, happily reporting that she had regained movement in her shoulder and was no longer in pain.
Kim Kardashian strongly praised the treatment, saying it has completely changed her life and helped her when she felt her health was failing. She also expressed hope that it will become available in the United States soon.

She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, that they would get the issue resolved eventually. She explained to the doctor that as soon as she finished her current commitments – implying after her divorce was finalized – she’d return to address the problem and make things look good, as she anticipated future use and didn’t want it to appear neglected.

Lupita Nyong’o received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus – in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her role in 12 Years a Slave.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with it for over ten years.
She explained that growing up, people are often told that periods are painful and that pain is just something women have to deal with. This leads many to silently struggle with something that’s a very common experience.

In July 2025, the actress from Daisy Jones & The Six revealed she’d been hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X (formerly Twitter) asking why she hadn’t been tweeting lately. Suki jokingly replied, explaining she’d been keeping quiet because she secretly suffered a hernia six months ago from wearing very tight pants and was afraid to mention it.

The former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 shared in April 2025 that he was recovering from surgery to fix a nearly ruptured appendix.
Brian shared in an Instagram video that he recently experienced stomach pain which led him to the emergency room. He explained that his appendix had a hole in it – it hadn’t fully burst, but was very close to doing so.
He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

During a soccer game against Seattle Reign on September 14th at Lumen Field in Seattle, a midfielder from Racing Louisville collapsed after only a few minutes of play.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Women’s National Team player sat down on the field with a teammate supporting her, and then quickly collapsed. Trainers were called to assess her condition.
As a wellness advocate, I was so relieved to hear that Savannah received immediate medical attention right on the field. The NWSL shared that she was quickly taken to a local hospital for further tests, and thankfully, she’s currently stable and alert. It’s always reassuring when athletes get prompt care, and it sounds like she’s in good hands.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 continue to cause him problems now.
I was absolutely floored when I heard Devine talking on Graham Bensinger’s podcast! He said it’s been a total nightmare for him. He’s been having these awful spasms all over, and honestly, it was terrifying to hear him say that doctors actually told him he was dying – like, within the last year! I just… I can’t even imagine. It’s heartbreaking to hear him go through all of this.
He mentioned that his pain is intermittent, explaining that his body has some minor imperfections and isn’t quite functioning as it should.

A former contestant on The Bachelor went to the hospital because of severe back pain. He described being in so much pain that he had to crawl on his hands and knees, and the pain got worse during a road trip with a friend.
He described a lingering tingling sensation in his knees and toes, saying it was “crazy” even weeks after the initial issue. He explained that just a month prior, he was able to squat 295 pounds, but now he can’t even do a single squat or stand on one foot without falling. He compared the feeling to having had a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

The comedian later posted on social media to explain he’d actually gotten food poisoning and was starting to feel better.

As a bit of a shooting enthusiast, I always love finding fun ways to celebrate special occasions. Last February, my husband Brendan and I went on a clay pigeon shooting trip for his birthday, and unfortunately, I had a really scary accident – I was accidentally shot in the face. It was a shocking experience, but thankfully, I’m doing much better now.
In an Instagram post, she explained that she was accidentally shot in the face by someone at a party who fired a weapon unsafely. Thankfully, @thebrendanrooney quickly helped, checked her over, and got her to the hospital. She was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed her right eye by less than an inch.
As a huge fan, I was really worried to hear about what happened to Christy Carlson Romano, but she shared an update and explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind her eye. She said surgery is too dangerous right now, but doctors are keeping a close watch on her – thankfully, she still has normal vision!
The actress expressed immense gratitude for surviving a frightening experience. She shared her deep love for her daughters, husband, family, and friends, emphasizing how quickly life can change. She urged everyone to cherish their loved ones and hug them whenever possible, as life is precious and can be altered in an instant.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, even though it can be harsh, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier” in photos, Schumer was surprised to see doctors commenting online, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out changes in her face that concerned them. This led Schumer to realize she’d been getting steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section, which could have caused the condition. She wouldn’t have known about it otherwise. In a recent newsletter, Schumer shared that she’s relieved to learn her type of Cushing syndrome will resolve on its own and that she is healthy.

In December 2024, an AHL player suffered a skate cut during a game and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. After his son made a full recovery, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald told ESPN how grateful they were, saying, “We feel very lucky, and I wouldn’t want any parent to go through that.”

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to speak or move the right side of her face. Although these symptoms eventually subsided, she went to the hospital for evaluation. Doctors discovered she’d had a small blood clot travel to her brain, which they identified as a TIA, or transient ischemic attack. Further testing at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot had passed through this hole and caused the TIA. Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour.
In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained the condition affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also mentioned it became increasingly difficult for him to eat.
Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey shared on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well, calling the situation scary but assuring everyone he would be completely fine and was grateful he was on the mend.

Jamie Foxx recently shared details about the serious health scare he experienced in April 2023, which he had initially kept private. In his 2024 Netflix special, What Had Happened Was…, he explained that he suffered a severe headache one day while in Atlanta. Before he could take aspirin, he lost consciousness and doesn’t remember the next twenty days.
Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he’d had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then went to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed deep gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star said she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
She shared on the show Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling like she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, everything went dark, but she then experienced a bright light. This led her to realize she had died that day.
She explained that her organs were failing. She hadn’t known she had rhabdomyolysis, a condition where your body essentially begins to shut down.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in Game of Thrones, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for The New Yorker. While filming the series, she experienced a severe headache while at the gym, which quickly escalated. She described becoming violently ill and realizing something was seriously wrong with her brain.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage – a life-threatening stroke caused by bleeding around the brain – due to a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, making it difficult to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This surgery was unsuccessful, leading to a major bleed and a dire prognosis. Doctors had to perform a more invasive procedure, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

I’m so relieved to hear Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, is doing better! She went through a really scary time earlier this year – she had a stroke in January 2024. She told Will Marfuggi from TopMob News that she immediately texted her family and sent a picture, and they all rushed to be there for her. It ended up being a longer hospital stay than expected, though. She already deals with lupus, and while she could have gone home after the stroke, her kidneys were also starting to fail, so there was a lot going on. Thankfully, she says she’s doing great now, just working on regaining some motor skills. It’s amazing to see how strong she is and how much her family supports her!

Shailene Woodley struggled with significant health issues throughout her early twenties. In a September 2024 podcast interview, she revealed she experienced hearing loss, debilitating fatigue – unable to walk for more than five minutes without needing to rest for hours – and persistent stomach pain. She faced confusion due to conflicting diagnoses from different doctors.
Determined to find answers, Woodley, who has kept her specific condition private, combined traditional medical care with holistic and herbal remedies. This search for well-being lasted for a decade.
She explained that the physical discomfort led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image, identity, and feeling comfortable in her own body.
Ultimately, Woodley’s health improved, and she is now very healthy and happy to share that she has resolved the issues she faced.
