Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton know how to make it feel like Christmas.

Gwen Stefani, the lead singer of No Doubt, recently revealed details about her and Blake Shelton’s travel plans for the holidays.

Gwen shared on the December 4th episode of Today that she and Blake frequently travel between Oklahoma and Los Angeles. She mentioned they’re heading back to Oklahoma this December, and then will return to L.A.

The couple, who lives both in the Southwest and California, enjoys taking short holiday getaways.

She mentioned they’d just celebrated Thanksgiving – actually, two of them! She felt grateful for the opportunity and anticipates continuing to travel back and forth between locations, which she really enjoys. She especially loves Oklahoma this time of year, finding it incredibly beautiful.

It’s easy to see why Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are getting into the holiday spirit – they even wrote the popular 2017 song “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” about it! Gwen and Blake share three children together: Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 11, with Gwen’s ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

Gwen recently shared with KOST 103.5 that she was hoping to approach a Christmas song from a fresh angle. She noticed that snow globes aren’t often featured in Christmas music.

So, she thought, “I’m going to have a snow globe moment here.”

Plus, Christmas music hits differently than any other genre, according to the Grammy winner.

Gwen explained that Christmas music evokes a strong sense of nostalgia, feeling deeply connected to personal memories. While regular albums can do the same, she believes Christmas songs are extra special because they’re only heard once a year, making you appreciate and miss them even more.

Gwen told Ryan Seacrest in November 2015 that she found someone attractive, but also acknowledged it was strange they’d both experienced the same situation simultaneously. It’s funny, because when I was fronting No Doubt, ‘sexy’ wasn’t a word I ever associated with myself. Even well into my thirties, I was a total tomboy – I practically lived without a purse! Now, I’m enjoying letting that softer, more feminine side of me shine through.

Gwen was surprised when Blake told her People magazine wanted him for their Sexiest Man Alive issue, since he usually avoids photoshoots. She immediately encouraged him to do it, playfully telling him he was very attractive.

Gwen described Blake as captivating and exceptionally talented, saying he has a natural charisma that draws people in. She compared him to a ‘unicorn’ during a September 2019 interview on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

Blake Shelton tweeted in June 2018 that watching Gwen Stefani rehearse reminded him of how many huge hits she’s written. He strongly encouraged people to see her Las Vegas show if they could get tickets.
