The latest update for Killing Floor 3, Season 2: Operation Breakout, brings a ton of new content to the cooperative shooter. A new trailer revealed some of these additions during today’s PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted.
We’re launching a new seasonal event with a story-driven campaign and a challenging survival map. This update also introduces DJ Scully as a new playable character, a brand-new weapon, and two weapon modifications inspired by real-world designs. Plus, we’ve given the Zed Stalker enemy a terrifying makeover, drawing inspiration from the infamous Russian sleep experiment Creepypasta.
Fans were surprised to see the Stalker missing from Killing Floor 3, considering it was a frequent enemy in the first two games. The redesigned Stalker is genuinely unsettling, with a creepy grin and sharp, forked arms. It can also appear suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere. Things aren’t looking good for humanity, but we’re not going down without a fight… especially not on the new map, Jungle Prison, which looks amazing.
The update also includes improvements to how the game plays, with adjustments to things like weapon recoil, damage, and costs, as well as tweaks to character stats for better balance.
The update is now live, and Killing Floor 3 is available on Steam.
