Grasshopper Manufacture recently revealed that Romeo is a Dead Man will be released on February 11, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will cost $49.99. You can watch the new trailer below, which shows the main character, Romeo Stargazer, fighting enemies and includes a quick glimpse of what appears to be a playable mech.
We know the basic story – Romeo joins the Space-Time Police after his unexpected death. But the situation is actually much bigger than that – the entire fabric of space-time is broken. As Romeo uses his Deadgear to capture criminals, he begins to suspect that the disappearance of Juliet is connected to this widespread chaos.
Similar to the game No More Heroes, Romeo is a Dead Man features fast-paced, third-person combat with a variety of weapons (you can see them all here). Beyond the main storyline, the game also includes side missions, and we’re excited to experience the unique and quirky style that director Goichi Suda is known for.
Now that Pragmata has been rated in South Korea and has a confirmed release date, many are hopeful we’ll see more information soon, possibly at The Game Awards. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
