Jennifer Meyer is looking on the bright side of her divorce from Tobey Maguire.

The jewelry designer, who was married to the actor known for playing Spider-Man from 2007 until 2020, has spoken about the challenges of separating in 2016 while co-parenting their children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 16.

She recalled on the December 1st episode of the Inside Edit podcast that her daughter was around ten years old at the time. She emphasized that those early years are challenging and require strong family connection, especially as they also had a seven-year-old son. She described raising children as a very demanding period in life.

The 48-year-old, who revealed she was engaged to Geoffrey Ogunlesi in August 2024, said she felt fortunate to have such a good relationship with her ex, Tobey, 50, but stressed that it wasn’t easy and required effort to build a friendly connection.
