Alix Earle is throwing a flag on this latest rumor.
Okay, so there was this rumor going around – a screenshot started circulating online claiming Giants rookie Jaxson Dart messaged me right after everyone found out about my breakup with Braxton Berrios. I just wanted to clear things up and say that wasn’t true. I wanted to set the record straight about what actually happened.
On December 7th, Alix addressed a photoshopped direct message circulating online, stating it was fake and she would never post something like that on her Instagram Story.
The fake screenshot showed a direct message from Jaxson to Alix asking, “hey u single now ?” and Alix then sharing it on her Instagram Close Friends story with the caption, “it hasn’t even been 12 hours.”
The rumor started online only a day after news broke that Alix and Braxton had ended their two-year relationship on December 6th.
Alix recently enjoyed a night out during Art Basel Miami Beach on December 5th. She wore a white corset dress while supporting her best friend at an art show.
“I’m incredibly proud of her,” she said in an Instagram video on December 6th. “Not only is her art beautiful, but she’s also making a difference by cleaning up beaches and doing good for the environment.”
She hosted a private party with SipMARGS, a company she’s invested in, and celebrated on a luxury yacht with celebrities like Quavo, Brianna LaPaglia, and Nic Vansteenberghe from Love Island USA.
News of Braxton and Alix’s breakup comes shortly after she denied rumors that they had split. Fans had noticed the NFL star wasn’t present to support her during her season on Dancing With the Stars, where she partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy.
After someone commented on a TikTok video, hoping she and Braxton were still together, Alix explained that Braxton wasn’t able to be there because of his football commitments.
Braxton showed his support for Alix during the November 25th Dancing with the Stars finale by sending a video message of encouragement.
He said in the video, ‘I’ve seen how much effort you’ve put into this from the beginning, and it really shows. I wish you the best of luck and hope you have fun, dear.’
