Nacon and Eden Games have announced that the racing game Gear.Club Unlimited 3 will be released on the Switch 2 on February 19, 2026. It will then become available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC later that year.
Here is an overview of the game, via Nacon:
A New Playground for Car Enthusiasts
I’m so excited – the Gear.Club series is back with its biggest game yet! It’s already been loved by over 22 million players, and this new one looks incredible. You get to race on totally new tracks with amazing scenery, like the mountains of Japan and the beautiful Mediterranean coast. It’s a real step up!
The First Japanese Gear.Club Opens Its Doors
In Gear.Club Unlimited 3, players establish the first Gear.Club in Japan. They’ll need to find and hire skilled Japanese drivers and build strong teams with top mechanics and engineers, all while experiencing Japan’s distinctive car culture – which is quite different from other Gear.Club locations. The game’s Story mode features travel between France and Japan, emphasizing the universal love of cars that connects enthusiasts around the world.
A New Speed Experience: Highway Mode
One of the biggest new additions is Highway Mode, which offers an incredibly exciting experience. Players will get behind the wheel of amazing cars and test their skills by reaching top speeds on specially designed highway sections. This mode is a true challenge: you’ll be racing at over 300 km/h on busy Japanese highways, needing to stay in control on both long stretches of road and sharp turns – because even a small mistake could be disastrous.
The Gear.Club Spirit Remains at the Heart of the Game
True to its DNA, Gear.Club Unlimited 3 retains the elements that made the series so successful:
- Prestige – A selection of legendary vehicles under official licenses.
- Customization – Players can customize and upgrade their vehicles to their liking to impose their style on the roads.
- Adrenaline – More than 50 tracks in France and Japan, with a local split-screen multiplayer mode for two players. Players can compete in races, sprints, or duels, but also cooperate in highway mode for an even more intense shared experience!

Pre-Order Bonuses
To mark the upcoming release of Gear.Club Unlimited 3 on Nintendo Switch 2, players who pre-order or purchase the Deluxe Edition will receive special bonus content. The Pre-Order Edition includes two exclusive car models – the Honda S2000 Gear.Club Unlimited 3 Edition and the BMW Z4 Gear.Club Unlimited 3 Edition – letting players begin their racing experience with uniquely designed, iconic vehicles.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition gives you a full set of perks, beginning with three days of early access to the game. It also includes the “Performance Cars Pack” DLC, adding three high-end cars: the Nissan GTR R-35 Nismo, the Nissan 370Z Nismo, and the Bugatti Mistral.
Okay, so I just grabbed the “Career Starter Pack” DLC, and it’s a huge help getting things going. Basically, it gives you a ton of credits – 200,000 to be exact – plus three sets of 50 different resources each, which saves a ton of grinding. And to top it off, you get two extra engineers right away. It’s a really solid boost if you’re starting out or just want to speed things up!
The new “Customization Pack” adds even more ways to personalize your cars. It includes a Carbon Pack with three different carbon fiber hoods for seven Japanese cars – a total of 21 pieces – and a Neon Pack with five unique neon light designs that work on any car. These designs include lights inspired by the colors of France and Japan.
As a racing game fan, I’m really excited about Gear.Club Unlimited 3! From what I’ve heard, it’s packed with awesome content, feels incredibly realistic while you’re playing, and it’s built so anyone can pick it up and enjoy it. It sounds like it’s going to be the racing game to get on the new Nintendo Switch 2!
