Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee are ready to step up to their next chapter as a couple.
The Step Up star shared that she and her fiancé of five years feel like a married couple already, even though they haven’t officially gotten married yet.
In an exclusive interview with TopMob News at Baby2Baby’s holiday event on December 10th, she explained that when asked about how their lives would change, they often joke, ‘We already are.’ She believes their lifestyle won’t be significantly different regardless of any future changes.
Despite everything, Jenna, age 45, is excited about her upcoming wedding to Steve, who proposed in 2019 when she was pregnant with their son, Callum, now 5 years old. She says she’s really looking forward to finally having the wedding ceremony itself.
She described it as a meaningful and deliberate occasion that they were carefully planning, adding that she believed it would be a joyful experience for everyone they care about.
As a mom myself, I totally get wanting to prioritize family time, especially around the holidays! Jenna Dewan is no different – she’s busy making memories with all her little ones. That includes her daughter Everly, who’s twelve and shares a dad with Channing Tatum, and her youngest, Rhiannon, who’s just a sweet 17 months old. Right now, she’s really focused on creating that magical holiday atmosphere for them, and honestly, who can blame her?

“Gingerbread house is a big thing,” Jenna shared. “We do it every year leading up to Christmas.”
She playfully admitted their family tradition has become a bit more competitive lately. It started with everyone collaborating on a single gingerbread house, but now they each create their own with different themes, which she finds enjoyable and lighthearted.
Jenna isn’t just spreading holiday cheer in one way. She especially loves volunteering with Baby2Baby to give gifts, calling it her most anticipated event of the year.

“It’s joy embodied,” she told TopMob at the event. “We are here to love and to help others.”
This tradition is also something Jenna’s children cherish. As she explained, she wants them to learn the importance of giving to others and helping those in need. There are many ways to do this, and today, she especially wants them to experience the joy of spreading Christmas cheer.

Jenna Dewan shared with Women’s Health in July 2018 that she never understood the idea that mothers are expected to stop being sexual beings. She believes that motherhood is actually incredibly empowering and attractive, saying, ‘You give life. It’s everything.’ Dewan feels that having a child shouldn’t change who you are as a person.

She explained to TopMob News’ Francesca Amiker at the Baby2Baby Mother’s Day event in Los Angeles this April that she focuses on letting her children be themselves and offers gentle guidance without imposing her own expectations. She prioritizes observing and learning from her children as much as guiding them.
This experience has brought them closer. The actress described it as seeing a reflection of yourself in another person – like looking through a prism that shows all your different sides. She explained that this makes for a deeply rewarding relationship where both people learn and grow together.

The actress happily shared that her daughter, Everly, is developing her own unique style. She loves watching Everly express herself through fashion, whether it’s choosing her favorite colors or adding a little sparkle to her outfits, and encourages her to experiment with different looks.
She has a really distinctive and playful style. Every day, she carefully chooses what to wear. She went through a phase of wearing only purple for a whole year, but lately, she’s been loving anything with glitter. She also enjoys mixing things up – pairing chunky sneakers with leggings and a tutu, and anything that feels magical. She’s really into that aesthetic right now, as she told People magazine in December 2017.

Jenna understands how crucial it is to support Everly and help her develop confidence while she’s young.
It’s crucial for her to start young and develop strong self-esteem and a sense of who she truly is. That way, when she inevitably faces criticism or negativity, she’ll be able to confidently remind herself of her worth, as she told People magazine in 2017.

The Soundtrack star revealed that becoming a mother allowed her to feel more empowered.
She told Us Weekly in October 2019 that becoming a mother made her feel incredibly capable. She realized that the deep love and commitment she felt towards her child gave her the strength to handle anything, even with little sleep or a lot of stress. She believes this newfound feeling empowers her to achieve any goal at any time.

In September 2019, Jenna announced she was pregnant with her first child with Steve Kazee on Instagram. This came six years after she welcomed her daughter, Everly, with her ex-husband, Channing Tatum. It’s wonderfully sweet news!
Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience of my life. Steve, you’re a wonderful gift, and I’m so thrilled we’re growing our family together! Thank you all for your kind wishes and support!

The actress from The Resident explained that becoming a mother to Everly has changed how she views her career and achieving work-life balance.
Having a daughter, Everly, completely shifted my priorities. I now focus on being present for her and consider the length of work commitments before accepting a project – I’ve turned down a lot of opportunities because of that. As a dancer, I’m used to working hard and taking any job, but becoming a mom was scary at first. I felt supported, though, like things would work out. Now I get to do what I love, but I don’t feel pressured to accept every single offer, which is a great feeling. I shared this at The Wrap‘s Power Women Summit in October 2019.

In 2019, Jenna Dewan published her first book, Gracefully You, where she discussed her anxieties about dating again after her separation from Channing Tatum. Her biggest priority was always her daughter.
My daughter is naturally shy, has a great sense of humor, and tends to be reserved around men. She’s slow to trust new people, and I worried she’d become jealous of anyone I dated. I really wondered how I could ever start dating again with her approval. I was incredibly anxious about it, as my fears were spiraling out of control.

The former World of Dance host gushed about Everly on Instagram shortly before her 5th birthday.
I’m so incredibly grateful Everly chose me to be her mother. I love her more than words can say and will always be there to support and cherish her. She teaches me something new every day, and I’m constantly amazed by her strength and wisdom. It’s hard to believe it’s almost been five years! I love her beyond measure – bigger than the sky and all the stars.

Dewan and her daughter truly love Halloween. In 2019, Everly even had two different costumes to celebrate!
After considering a lot of different options, I gave her a firm deadline to make a decision. She ultimately chose an ‘angel’ look for daytime and a ‘peacock’ look for evenings,” Dewan shared on Good Morning America.
Suddenly, she started talking about peacocks. I was surprised, but she seemed really enthusiastic about it.
