Sony has delayed the launch of Saros, the upcoming arcade shooter from Housemarque, but you can now pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store.
The game was originally slated for 20th March, but it’s now slipped to 30th April.
The update comes at the end of a new trailer, which focuses on the game’s narrative side:
According to Housemarque’s Gregory Louden on the PlayStation Blog, Saros will feature the studio’s most expansive and ambitious story to date.
The game, Saros, tells a chilling tale of a forgotten colony on the planet Carcosa, set against the backdrop of a threatening eclipse. Players take on the role of Arjun Devraj, a determined Soltari Enforcer relentlessly pursuing his target.

The trailer shows Arjun isn’t the only one on this strange planet. You’ll encounter other characters both in the central hub area, called the Passage, and while exploring the world during missions.
As mentioned, pre-orders are live now, and the game comes in two versions.
As a fan, I’ve seen they’re offering a regular version for $69.99 (or £69.99), and a digital deluxe edition for $79.99 (or £79.99) if you want a bit more!
The Digital Deluxe Edition lets you start playing the game two days before everyone else and includes exclusive in-game items. These items are several armor sets modeled after designs from Returnal, God of War, and Ghost of Yotei.
