After almost ten years, My Hero Academia has concluded its run, achieving a milestone no other full season of anime has before. Since the final season began this fall, fans have been actively sharing their thoughts and reactions to each episode online. Many believe this season, consistently delivering high quality animation by Studio Bones, is one of the best anime seasons ever created.
Fans loved the final season of My Hero Academia, and their ratings showed it – every episode received a score above 9 on IMDb. This makes it the only complete anime season to consistently achieve such high marks. The season’s quality was clear from the very first episode, and Bakugo’s return in a later episode really solidified its special status. In fact, one episode became the highest-rated anime episode all year, proving the final season was truly exceptional.
My Hero Academia‘s Final Season Secures Over 9 Rating on Every Episode on IMDb

I was absolutely blown away when I heard that My Hero Academia‘s final season managed something incredible – every single one of its eleven episodes got a rating of 9 or higher on IMDb! It’s a feat only matched this year by Takopi’s Original Sin, which was a much shorter series. Honestly, a full-length season doing that seemed impossible, so it really speaks volumes about how much fans loved the conclusion to the story. It wasn’t just luck, though – the creators clearly laid the groundwork for this amazing finale from the very beginning, carefully building everything up over the entire season.
Building on everything that came before and culminating in a thrilling finale, the last season of My Hero Academia is truly spectacular, made even better by Studio Bones’ excellent animation. It’s clear this has cemented My Hero Academia as a shonen series with one of the most satisfying conclusions in the genre. Unlike some other shonen endings that felt rushed or relied on last-minute twists – like the surprise villain in the Naruto finale – My Hero Academia’s ending felt carefully planned and earned. Fans appreciated this dedication, and the final season achieved record-breaking viewership – higher than any other full-length anime season before it.
