Disney+: Everything Coming to the Service in January 2026

With 2025 almost over, streaming services like Disney+ are announcing what new shows and movies they’ll be adding in January 2026. Following Netflix’s recent announcement, Disney+ revealed its lineup on Tuesday, featuring the return of a popular series and the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Starting January 1st, all five Indiana Jones movies – including the original four and the 2023 film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny – will be available to stream on Disney+. The first four films were temporarily on Prime Video after leaving Disney+ a few months ago, but that agreement ends this year, bringing the entire series back to a single streaming home.

January kicks off with the release of Indiana Jones and wraps up with Wonder Man. Marvel Studios’ new series premieres on January 27th, with all episodes available at once. See the complete list of what’s coming to Disney+ this January below!

January 1st

The Indiana Jones film series includes these movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I just got a sneak peek at Cheetahs Up Close with Bertie Gregory, and it’s stunning! Bertie arrives right as the wildebeest migration is getting underway in the Serengeti, and he’s focused on filming cheetahs – the world’s fastest land animals. What really struck me was getting to see a mother cheetah with her incredibly small cubs, and watching a coalition of young males hunt together – they’re seriously impressive! The documentary doesn’t just show the beauty, though; it really dives into the surprising struggles these amazing animals face. It’s a beautiful and insightful look at cheetahs, and I highly recommend it.

As a total movie and documentary buff, I’m really excited about Pole to Pole with Will Smith! It’s been five years in the making, and it follows Will Smith on an unbelievable journey across all seven continents – from Antarctica to the Amazon, the Himalayas, Africa, the Pacific islands, and the Arctic. It’s inspired by a challenge from someone he really looked up to, and for 100 days, Will pushes himself to the limit: skiing to the South Pole, wrestling with an anaconda, even milking a venomous spider! He’s guided by experts and scientists, and they actually make some groundbreaking discoveries along the way. But it’s not just about adventure; Will also connects with incredible communities like the Waorani in the Amazon and the San people in the Kalahari, learning from their wisdom and resilience. It’s a massive, cinematic experience – exactly what you’d expect from National Geographic – blending science, environmental storytelling, and some seriously bold exploration. It feels like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and I can’t wait to watch it all.
