Netflix is potentially buying Warner Bros., which could dramatically change Hollywood. While people are talking about how this might affect movie theaters and HBO Max, we’re focusing on the exciting possibilities! Combining the characters and stories from both companies could lead to some amazing crossovers, and we’ve picked out our top 5 dream team-ups we’d love to see.
5. Looney Tunes x Creature Cases

Let’s begin with animation, a strong suit for both Warner Bros. and Netflix. After considering several options, we decided to combine the classic Looney Tunes with Netflix’s hit animated show, Creature Cases, in a crossover event.
As a huge animation fan, I’ve been really impressed with what Creature Cases has done in a short time – Agent Sam Snow and Kit Casey are fantastic additions to the Netflix lineup. Of course, nothing beats the legacy of Looney Tunes, those characters are timeless! But honestly, the idea of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, and the whole gang crossing over with Sam, Kit, and even Wally Bungler? That would be amazing! It’s a perfect way to get a new generation hooked on the classics while letting longtime Looney Tunes fans enjoy a fresh take. It really feels like everyone wins with a crossover like that.
4. Wednesday x Beetlejuice

A crossover between Wednesday and Beetlejuice makes a lot of sense, and it’s already subtly happened. As fans of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice know, Jenna Ortega, who stars in Wednesday, played a significant role in the new film, creating a connection between the two series.
Although Jenna Ortega doesn’t play Wednesday in Beetlejuice, the two worlds haven’t officially collided—yet. The wild, unique humor of Beetlejuice would pair wonderfully with Wednesday’s equally unusual and dangerous personality, and a team-up or even a rivalry between them would be fantastic, particularly if Tim Burton directed. Hopefully, this will happen—it has the potential to be incredible.
3. The Witcher x Mortal Kombat

Most of the focus surrounding this deal has been on movies and TV, but it also includes video games. Warner Bros. owns the popular Mortal Kombat franchise, which includes both games and films, and I’m hoping we’ll see a crossover from the films appear in the video games.
There’s been talk of a crossover between The Witcher and Mortal Kombat, potentially adding Geralt as a playable character in the next Mortal Kombat game. Mortal Kombat often includes guest characters in its downloadable content – we’ve seen everyone from the Terminator to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appear. Geralt would fit right in, using his swords, magic, and potions to create a powerful and deadly fighter. He’s even been in Soul Calibur before, so bringing him to Mortal Kombat seems like a natural fit.
2. KPop Demon Hunters x Teen Titans Go!

This year, Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters was a huge success, becoming popular on TV, music streaming services like Apple and Spotify, and even in cinemas. However, it wasn’t the only franchise to thrive – DC also had a fantastic year with both its movies and comics. This raises an interesting question: what’s the best way to combine these two worlds in a crossover event?
What if we mixed the action of HUNTR/X with the fun-loving heroes from Teen Titans Go? The Teen Titans Go! team is known for its hilarious moments, crazy adventures, and playful breaking of the fourth wall. Putting them in the world of KPop could lead to some amazing chaos! Plus, reimagining the Titans with KPop-style animation would make the action sequences even more dynamic. The potential pairings – Rumi and Robin, Myra and Raven, Zoey and Beast Boy – feel natural, and with Starfire and Cyborg completing the team, this could be an incredible collaboration.
1. Stranger Things x Scooby-Doo

Warner Bros. is home to many famous franchises, but Scooby-Doo and its Mystery Inc. crew remain incredibly popular. Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred are well-known detectives, even though they often spend more time running away or looking for food! Netflix also has a beloved detective group with the cast of Stranger Things, and fans have long hoped to see these two franchises team up.
Both Scooby-Doo and Stranger Things feature teams of amateur detectives investigating monsters and solving mysteries. Though Scooby-Doo doesn’t have creatures like the Demogorgon, it’s easy to imagine Scooby and the gang finding a creative way to defeat them. A crossover where Shaggy and Velma meet Eleven and Hopper in the Upside Down, while Fred, Daphne, and Scooby help Mike, Nancy, and Lucas with monsters in the real world, would be a really exciting adventure. Hopefully, this crossover will happen someday!
