I’ve been noticing Adult Swim is really hitting its stride lately. Both classic shows and newer ones are making a real mark on Cartoon Network. It’s not just staying within its original late-night slot anymore; the block is expanding and gaining popularity in all sorts of ways. We already knew Rick and Morty and Smiling Friends were coming back for more, but it looks like another show is joining them. Cartoon Network just announced that one of their newest animated series isn’t getting just one extra season—they’re renewing it for two!
The animated series Haha, You Clowns debuted on Adult Swim on October 19th and will conclude its first season on December 21st with the release of its tenth episode. Due to the show’s success, Cartoon Network has announced it will be renewed for two more seasons. Creator Joe Cappa expressed his gratitude to the fans, saying he’s excited to continue telling the story of the Campbell family and spend more time with the characters.
Michael Ouweleen, President of Adult Swim, expressed his enthusiasm for the renewal of Haha, You Clowns for seasons two and three. He praised creator Joe Pera and his team for making a uniquely touching and surreal show, and thanked viewers for their support. He highlighted how the audience’s positive response on social media and consistent viewership led to the decision to order two more seasons, echoing a message from the show itself: ‘You are strong! You are loved!’
You Clowns Will Return

You can now stream the first season of the popular new Adult Swim series on HBO Max. The show, which has been renewed for two more seasons, follows the Campbell family – three teenage brothers and their kind-hearted father. It’s a heartwarming story about how they cope with the loss of their mother while finding joy and connection in their daily lives, and they’re all big guys with a lot of feelings!
Adult Swim’s new show, Haha, You Clowns, stands out with its quirky humor and energetic animation, but it’s more than just style. Like grounded comedies such as King of the Hill and Bob’s Burgers, the show takes place in a surprisingly normal world. The characters’ innocent perspectives are surprisingly charming, and while shows like Rick and Morty often delve into dark themes, Haha, You Clowns offers a more upbeat and positive experience.
