First-Person Shooter Now Free for Epic Games Store Users for 24 Hours

For the next 24 hours, Epic Games Store users can get a first-person shooter video game for free. This week’s free game, released on December 20th, is now available. Keep in mind that during the holidays, free games on the Epic Games Store are only offered for one day instead of the usual week, meaning you’ll get more free games overall, but need to grab them quickly if you’re on a PC.

Epic Games Store is currently giving away the game Blood West for free, which normally costs $24.99. Players who have checked it out on Steam highly recommend not only adding it to your library but actually playing it. With a score of 80 on Metacritic and an 88% positive rating from over 3,200 Steam users, it seems to be well-received. Just keep in mind that this free offer doesn’t include any of the game’s downloadable content.
