With a new Resident Evil movie coming out on September 18, 2026, directed by Zack Cregger, it’s likely Wesker will appear in future films. However, when asked about potentially reprising the role, actor Andrew Starr seemed surprised. He told ComicBook he wasn’t sure why people were asking and joked that his only similarity to Wesker was his blonde hair, which he’s since dyed.
