Love Is Blind’s Alexa Lemieux Shares Update Amid Brennon Lemieux Split

Alexa Lemieux isn’t leaving fans blind post-breakup.

Almost three weeks after announcing her split from husband Brennon Lemieux (whom she married on season three of Love Is Blind in 2021), she shared a personal update.

Alexa said things have been hectic lately, especially with everything going on. She was happy to still be able to celebrate some Hanukkah traditions this year, as shown in a recent Instagram video of her making latkes.

The 31-year-old got help from her and Brennon’s 16-month-old daughter, Vienna, to make the potato dish. This time, though, they made a smaller batch.

Tonight is a cozy one – just me, my daughter, and her dad are having latkes. She mentioned we usually make a huge batch for everyone, but it’s a small family dinner tonight, so she’s scaling down the recipe a little. It’s nice to have a quiet night with just the three of us.

After making the latkes, Alexa joked, “You shouldn’t believe everything you read online, but you can believe these latkes are really good!”

After the reality star announced her split from Brennon online, more information about why they broke up has emerged. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on December 8th, Alexa claims Brennon, 35, was the one who ended their marriage.

In legal documents, she claimed she was entitled to a larger share of the marital assets after the divorce. She explained this was because her ex-spouse was responsible for the end of the marriage, according to reports.

Alexa and Brennon are going through a tough time right now, but they’re dedicated to staying friendly and working together for the sake of their daughter.

After a lot of thought and honest conversations, we’ve decided to get a divorce,” Alexa shared on Instagram on December 3rd. “This wasn’t an easy decision, and we made it with kindness, respect, and gratitude for the years we spent together.

We started our relationship full of love and hope, and we’re ending it with thankfulness for everything we’ve learned and how we’ve both grown. Although we’re getting divorced, we’ll continue to support each other and are fully committed to raising our daughter with kindness and understanding as we move forward.

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t what Ali was looking for.

She told the truck driver, right at the altar, that she couldn’t marry him. She explained that the man she’d connected with while they were only talking wasn’t the same person she’d gotten to know after meeting in person.

So, she listened to her intuition.

She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and felt off. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his life.

Anton wasn’t sure what went wrong – whether it was a matter of appearances, a change in their connection, or simply how they were living. But he insisted he always cared for her deeply.

Megan and her fiancĂ© connected because they both had family members with Type 1 diabetes. However, their very different lifestyles – he liked things simple, while she enjoyed luxury – ultimately led Megan to end their engagement at the end of the season nine finale.

“It feels like we’re just passing each other without really connecting,” the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didn’t understand what he meant, saying, “I don’t get it.”

After Megan mentioned Jordan’s difficult eating habits and how hard it was to work around his travel schedule as a father, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him in the pods in the first place.

She admitted she’d initially thought their differences could work, but ultimately had doubts. “Looking back, I realize I never wanted to get married and risk putting either of us through that,” she said, and both of them started to cry.

Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained in a private interview that he believes she doesn’t love him for who he is, and that realization is what he needs to move on.

Megan confessed the experience made her doubt her abilities as a mother, wondering if she was too focused on her own needs.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond declared their strong love for each other. However, Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal, offering her apologies.

She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and admitted she wasn’t in that place herself. However, she quickly added that saying ‘no’ didn’t mean she didn’t care for him.

Edmond was upset and started crying, but Kalybriah thanked him for handling the situation with dignity as she explained her difficult choice. When he asked if they might date in the future, Kalybriah reassured him that she wasn’t ruling it out completely.

“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married on season nine because Joe ended things after an emotional breakdown while trying on his tuxedo.

Madison recalled to Glamour that Joe behaved differently depending on whether they were filming or not. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was much more comforting and affectionate, even physically close. But on camera, his behavior was completely reversed, and you can actually see that contrast during the pool party scene.

Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.

She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred those who were smaller in stature. Despite generally feeling confident, she admitted this comment briefly made her feel insecure.

Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a pattern he’d noticed in his past relationships, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.

Despite being told it was finished, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with Nick to stay with her, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”

“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”

Nick finally explained to Annie that he didn’t want to marry her because he wasn’t happy.

Dave and Lauren’s relationship struggled after arriving in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, the real issue stemmed from Dave learning that Lauren had previously been with someone he knew, which made him reluctant to continue the relationship.

Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause a lot of problems, didn’t approve of the relationship at all.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and expected them to get married. But when the time came, Monica decided she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.

She said, crying, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but believed they both still had some way to go. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.

He hugged her and reassured her that everything was alright. He said they clearly cared deeply for each other, but he felt they both needed to focus on personal growth right now. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship, and wasn’t sure when he would be.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values – like religion and politics – Ben and Sara appeared to have found common ground by the time of their wedding. However, they eventually realized they weren’t meant to be and decided to separate.

Sara, who had previously told me she didn’t see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I care about you deeply, but I’ve always envisioned a partner who shares my outlook on life. Because of that, I can’t continue this relationship. I’m truly sorry if that’s hard to hear.”

She explained that while she deeply cares for him, their core beliefs are too different for her to continue the relationship. Although her heart feels a connection, she ultimately realized they weren’t compatible based on what’s most important to her.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a well-matched couple, looking forward to their future together after completing the relationship pods. However, their harmony was disrupted when they began discussing a prenuptial agreement.

Ultimately, more significant problems led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide against marrying him.

Oh my god, it just broke my heart watching her after they left the altar. She was crying and said it was like she always felt this need to protect Devin, and I totally get that! She said it might be a ‘cultural thing,’ but she just always wanted to shield him. Apparently, there were things he didn’t even want to discuss – like politics, can you believe it?! – and she didn’t want to push him. It’s just
they never really went there, you know? They didn’t explore those deeper parts of their connection, and it’s just so sad to think about all the things they missed out on. I just wanted them to be happy and really know each other!

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who committed to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holiday season was over.

Despite a rocky start – Taylor believed Daniel had briefly unfollowed her on Instagram, suggesting he’d seen her picture before the show – they were able to move past it.

After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and celebrated with a reception.

“We did it!” Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. Taylor added, beaming, “We’re so excited to begin our life together.”

You know, I’ve been following this story, and it’s a good reminder that even seemingly perfect romances don’t always work out. This art dealer – he’s become quite well-known – proposed to the author of Keeping Well after a complicated situation involving another woman, Hannah Jiles. But after a brief engagement, they both realized they were happier continuing as friends. It just goes to show, sometimes the best relationship is a strong friendship!

Brittany and Leo realized they didn’t have a romantic connection, as Brittany explained to People magazine. They discussed the possibility of a relationship at the start of their time together, but as things progressed, they both felt a lack of chemistry. Because they communicated well, the realization wasn’t difficult or dramatic – it was a respectful and straightforward understanding between them.

Soon after being on a Netflix dating show, Brittany began dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen ended their relationship after Monica discovered explicit text messages between her fiancé and another woman while they were still on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode aired.

In an October 2024 post on Instagram Stories, he expressed regret if his presence bothered anyone, apologizing to those who were upset and saying he wished they hadn’t had to start their day. He added that he still cared for them regardless.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick definitely experienced their share of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously noted that she felt like an equal only when she contributed equally to the relationship.

Everything fell apart when Hannah ended the relationship, deciding she didn’t want to get married. Nick described the split as incredibly painful, saying it was one of the worst experiences of his life.

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.

She recently shared that she’s been reflecting on herself and identified areas for improvement. Speaking on the The Viall Files podcast, she explained that while she’s always been straightforward, she realizes her communication style can be a bit harsh. She’s come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, and it felt like they were meant to be together – a connection almost symbolized by their matching tattoos. They did have one difficult moment when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former girlfriend, but he quickly clarified he was engaged and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship blossomed, becoming a memorable part of the Love Is Blind story.

The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You won’t believe this, but despite being a strong couple and early favorites to succeed, Ramses ended things with Marissa by calling off their wedding after reconsidering their future together.

After a heartfelt conversation, Marissa excitedly told her fiancĂ©, “I see a wonderful future with you, and I want to marry you.” He replied, simply, “I know loving someone always carries a risk, and I accept that.”

He pointed out that their disagreements—like their differing views on the military—might be too significant to overcome. He explained that, having observed his own marriage and those of others, he believes love isn’t always enough for a successful relationship. Other factors need to be compatible as well.

Marissa tried to stay strong, but once she realized the relationship was truly over, she started crying. She told him, “I wish you hadn’t come here knowing things were ending.” She expressed her confusion, saying, “I was so certain, and you weren’t?” and admitted, “It’s awful, I really wanted you to choose me.” She described the breakup as “the worst day of my life.”

Tyler and Ashley quickly won over viewers with their seemingly effortless romance. But their relationship faced a challenge when Tyler revealed he had three children, a revelation Ashley referred to with a controversial term. The level of Tyler’s involvement in raising those children has been debated online, but he hasn’t publicly commented on the discussion.

By the October 2024 reunion show, Ashley and Tyler had resolved their differences, reconnected, and eventually married.

Tyler and Ashley, newly married, shared that meeting two months ago completely changed their lives. ‘Now we can finally spend the rest of our lives together,’ Tyler said as he sat with his wife.

However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.

In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are divorcing. She explained that after a lot of thought, they realized they were growing apart and couldn’t continue their marriage, despite hoping they could find a way forward with honesty and understanding.

I was so relieved to see Alex and Tim seemingly put their big disagreement in Mexico behind them! They came back to Washington, D.C. and honestly, they looked happier than ever. What really got me hopeful, though, was seeing Tim have a really heartfelt talk with Alex’s dad – it felt like that conversation solidified their future together, and I couldn’t have been happier for them.

After Alex met Tim’s family, they had another fight, and Tim ended the engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to speak to her again. Since then, both Alex and Tim have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the breakup wasn’t a joint decision.

As a longtime fan, it was so heartwarming to see Chelsea and Jimmy finally move past their issues! They had a few bumps in the road throughout the season, but their date at the amusement park, right before the wedding, seemed to really seal the deal. It felt like they genuinely worked things out and were ready to start their lives together.

Jimmy ended things with Chelsea, calling off their engagement, and letting her know he was ready to move on. Chelsea was shocked and upset by his decision.

Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, ‘I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I definitely don’t want to get married. It’s just not something I can do.’

He said they were simplifying a complex situation, which stemmed from several deeply upsetting issues. One of those issues was Chelsea sharing a private secret about Jimmy’s previous relationship with a friend.

After one final argument about their past relationships, Chelsea broke down in tears and left, saying, “I really thought we had a chance.”

The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was worried about getting married because of his father’s past, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.

When it came time to actually get married, Clay unexpectedly said he didn’t want to. He told AD that getting married wouldn’t be a responsible decision because he wasn’t prepared for it.

Cue the shock.

He told AD he’d do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He admitted he wasn’t ready for marriage, and that she deserved someone who was. He explained he wouldn’t commit to marriage until he felt fully prepared, and he couldn’t give her an answer right now.

The discovery deeply upset AD, and she tearfully stated that the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.

Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He confessed, “I had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasn’t truly in love anymore.”

At the reunion, Clay admitted he regretted their breakup and hoped to date AD again, but she didn’t reveal whether she’d be open to rekindling their relationship.

Okay, so there’s been some buzz, and I wanted to clear things up. Yes, I did go on a couple of dates with my costar, Matthew Duliba, after we finished filming. It was nice getting to know him outside of work, but we’re definitely not a couple now. Just friends!

She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancĂ© Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their celebration was beautiful. What made it even more special was how well their families blended together – Amy’s dad even told Johnny’s sister he now feels like he has several daughters.

As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”

They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began with a lot of excitement, but it didn’t last once everyday life set in.

Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed after they left the pods and returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while isolated, but that passion faded once they were back in the real world.

Brittany and her former fiancĂ© are still friends. At a recent get-together, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they’ll always share a strong connection.

Laura and Jeramey’s engagement ended abruptly when Laura discovered Jeramey had spent time with a fellow castmate, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out. Following a heated argument, Laura broke up with him.

But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.

At the March 2024 reunion, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been dating on and off for about a year, starting after the show finished filming, but they are no longer together.

Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s desire for a certain standard of living (she didn’t want to use paper plates!), Stacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasn’t truthful about his financial history.

Even though the wedding didn’t happen, Stacy still wanted to continue her relationship with the heartbroken Izzy.

“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”

Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t sure about a long-term future together. She said she needed to be completely certain before committing to a lifetime with someone, and she wasn’t quite there yet.

Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The only bright spot of season five faded when Lydia revealed on an interview with former castmate AD Smith’s podcast, What’s the Reality, in June 2025, that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.

She explained it wasn’t a single event, but rather a series of ongoing issues that built up over time. When she informed him she’d let him know when the divorce papers were finalized, he replied that he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.

She explained that she decided to go public with the news because she’d been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what she’d been going through, as staying silent had become unbearable.

Lydia claims that while they were married, other women accused her husband, Milton, 26, of being overly flirtatious and buying them drinks at bars. He denied these claims, but instead of addressing them, he questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed drawn to each other despite their differences, but things fell apart at their wedding. Micah, noticing Paul’s uncertainty, asked him to speak first, and he ultimately declined to marry her.

“I feel terrible,” Micah admitted. “If Paul had proposed, I would have definitely accepted.”

At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful comment he made privately about Micah, where he said he couldn’t picture her as a mother.

Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair to her when he spoke earlier. He clarified that his real concern is that he doesn’t envision them becoming parents together.

Although they got back together for a short time after filming finished, Paul and Micah eventually split up permanently. Paul said the final breakup happened when he went to visit Micah in Arizona.

On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new – a woman who loves to travel and appreciates his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Okay, so even though Kwame’s mom totally skipped the wedding – can you believe it?! – and he had those
questionable chats with Micah, the one he initially connected with in the pods, he STILL married Chelsea! They were one of the three couples who actually made it down the aisle at the end of season four, and honestly, I was screaming! I just had to see them say ‘I do’!

At the reunion, Chelsea shared that she’s now met her husband’s mother. Kwame also apologized to his wife and her family for how he acted, explaining that his conversations with Micah hadn’t been ideal.

The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

It’s often said that love is blind, but sometimes it takes time—or even getting engaged to someone else—to realize you’ve made a mistake. This happened to Zack, who initially proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they ended their engagement while on a trip to Mexico.

Despite initial challenges and objections from Bliss’ father, the couple reconciled and got married. They celebrated by sharing their first dance as husband and wife to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” – the song that had first brought them together while they were dating in the pods.

Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.

The couple announced in November 2023 that they were expecting a baby, and in April 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski.

It feels like we haven’t seen a Love Is Blind couple with such a natural connection since Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed in season one!

Tiffany, 36, and Brett, 37, were the oldest couple in the experiment and still managed to get married, despite a last-minute wardrobe mishap when Brett’s pants didn’t fit! Huge thanks to the amazing seamstress, Lucia, for saving the day.

Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.

Once the show stopped filming, the two exes got back together and announced they were dating again at the season three reunion.

A month later, the couple announced their split following rumors of infidelity. In a November social media post, SK and Raven explained they couldn’t share details due to ongoing legal issues, and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were shocked and disappointed when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demas—another person she’d formed a bond with in the pods—before officially breaking up with Marshall.

During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I met Josh at the coffee shop. It might seem like I was unfaithful, but I wasn’t.”

Jackie spoke about her breakup with Marshall, taking responsibility for her part in what happened. She explained that they simply weren’t a good match for each other.

I was really rooting for Jackie and Josh! They seemed so happy together, even after filming After the Altar where they were still a couple and living together. But sadly, Jackie shared on Instagram Live back in September 2023 that they’d actually split up. It was definitely a surprise to hear!

Marshall shared with TopMob that he and fellow contestant Kacia Clark connected briefly after the show ended. However, he explained, “I needed to create some space between myself and that whole experience,” so things didn’t progress.

On the show After the Altar, Marshall shared that he’s been dating Dr. Chay Barnes for a year and hopes to marry her. They got engaged in December 2023.
