Chrissy Teigen has experienced a holiday mishap.
Chrissy Teigen shared a funny story about losing a tooth while helping her and John Legend’s kids – Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren – with a holiday project. They were trying to ‘grow’ candy canes by secretly sprinkling Oreo crumbs, and Chrissy was helping by adding the treats overnight.
Chrissy shared a video on Instagram on December 21st showing her helping her four children plant small candy canes. When she tried to replace them with larger ones, things didn’t go as planned.
She was filming a video about growing candy canes when she tried to open one and accidentally broke a tooth. She shared the mishap with the camera.
Chrissy smiled and pointed to the gap where a tooth was missing, explaining it was actually a temporary veneer. She joked that moms will go to great lengths – even pretending to grow a candy cane – to make their kids happy.
She joked that trying to make her kids’ recital special had cost her a tooth, and now she had a winter concert to get through tomorrow.
Chrissy posted a video from her child’s recital, showing herself holding Wren and enjoying a candy cane. She captioned it, “This is how I had to do it!”
Despite losing a tooth, Chrissy’s Court star Chrissy Teigen didn’t let it spoil her holiday fun. She happily shared photos of her smile and the completed candy cane craft she made.
As for John, he reacted to his wife of 12 years’ video by commenting a series of laughing emojis.
Luckily, everything is back to normal! Chrissy posted a video on her Instagram Story showing her dentist putting in the new veneer. She finished the story with a final, toothless selfie with Luna, jokingly saying, “It was fun waving goodbye to my old tooth for a bit!”
Even with recent challenges, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s home is usually full of life and activity. John Legend has talked about what their life is like at home before.
John shared with TopMob News in September how wonderful it is to have so much energy, love, and laughter filling his home. He described a lively atmosphere, saying, “Everyone is up and about and chatting.”
Having three of our kids at the same school is a real help with drop-off and pick-up,” she said. “It’s definitely busy, but it’s a good kind of busy.”
