Frontier Works, the publisher, and Emma Create, the developer, have unveiled the city building and idol simulation game “Heroic Songs: The Remix.” This game is set to release on September 15 for both Switch consoles and PC via Steam, priced at 2,500 yen. It will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages.

Story

Moments ago, you were immersed in a concert performed by the renowned pop icon Ruri Tsukuyomi… only to find yourself in an unknown, alien realm upon awakening.

In this new world, you’re saved by the spirited Akari Sunohara, an ardent admirer of idols. Accompanied by Moku-san, a spirit residing in a flower, you uncover a startling revelation: we’ve both stumbled into a peculiar realm known as the Void, and for now, there seems to be no path leading back home.

The only means for success is tapping into Akari’s latent abilities as an idol. In this universe, idols serve not just as entertainers but as guiding lights and the foundation to reestablish broken bonds between realms. However, she can’t accomplish it single-handedly. She relies on your encouragement.

To journey back home united, construct a city named Fanctuary within the Void’s expanse – an iconic beacon shall guide your path!

Characters

  • Protagonist (You) – You’re the one who was transported to the Void alongside Akari. As the central figure in this world, your role is to support Akari and the other idols on their journey.
  • Akari Sunohara – An ordinary girl with an extraordinary love for idols. She possesses the innate potential to become one herself, and must step into the spotlight to find a way home. At first, she struggles with doubt and frustration, but grows through her encounters with veteran idols and her fans in the fantasy worlds.
  • Ruri Tsukuyomi – The Ultimate Idol, reigning at the top with an overwhelming presence and voice. Her legacy echoes throughout the various fantasy worlds Akari explores.
  • Lynalelle Singulant – The idol of Seven Falls, a fantasy-themed world. She’s a king, an idol, and a passionate idol superfan all in one!
  • Haru – The idol of Discordia, a sci-fi-themed world. She’s a trusted senior to Akari, but seems to be hiding some complicated circumstances.
