*Warning: Spoilers for Monday 14th July’s episode of Coronation Street, available now on ITVX.*
As a devoted viewer, I can’t help but be on the edge of my seat as the thrilling tale of Mick Michaelis, the notorious fugitive, reaches its climax in the upcoming episode of Coronation Street, airing on Monday, 14th July 2025.
With Louise (Farrel Hegarty), formerly Mick’s wife, imprisoned due to her assault on Gary Windass (Mikey North), Mick received updates about the circumstances from their shared son Brody (Ryan Mulvey), whom Mick had brought up.
Mick intends to escape from jail and, with determination, plans to flee with his companion Brody. Alongside them will be their daughters Joanie, portrayed by Savanna Pennington, and Shanice, played by Molly Kilduff.
In the scheme, Brody is participating, and he makes an effort to retrieve the girls, who are currently under the care of Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine). However, he learns that Joanie is attending a trial day at Weatherfield High School instead.

When Brody informs Mick, Mick subsequently arrives at the school, yet Sally had previously taken Joanie home following the child’s distress due to remarks made by other children about her family.
As a movie connoisseur, I can’t help but find myself perplexed by Lou’s evasive response when grilled about Mick’s mysterious disappearance. On the other hand, Rob Mallard’s character, Dan Osbourne, and the formidable Mrs. Crawshaw, portrayed by the talented Carla Mendonça, find themselves squaring off with the elusive Mick, who menacingly insists they relinquish Joanie to him.
When Mick learns Joanie is gone, Mick locks the pair in the office and flees.
Sally is taking Joanie on a tour of the factory, and upon learning about Mick’s disappearance from Brody’s biological dad, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), he quickly reconnects with his longtime adversary.
Prepare for an intense episode as Dynevor, Pennington, and Layton deliver powerful performances. Catch their gripping tale unfold immediately on ITVX, or tune in to ITV1 at 8 pm.
The strong acting by Dynevor, Pennington, and Layton, along with Layton’s chilling portrayal of Mick, promises a tense episode. You can watch the entire story right now on ITVX or catch it at 8 pm on ITV1.
However, with an impending violent confrontation looming, it is Kit who finds himself gravely injured and requiring urgent life-saving medical intervention.
As a fierce clash approaches, Kit suffers severe injuries that necessitate immediate lifesaving surgery to keep him alive.
Brody is also missing, but has he left with Mick?
Will Mick get what he wants, and will Kit survive?
