Fans of The Lord of the Rings are getting a new game called The Lord of the Rings: Ascension. It combines the beloved world of Middle-earth with the deckbuilding gameplay of Ascension. Players can team up—or play solo—as they journey through three sets of cards inspired by the The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. I was so excited when Five Nights at Freddy’s came to Peacock on April 26th! As a big fan of the original video games by Scott Cawthon, I had to see it. The movie follows a security guard who takes a job at a creepy, haunted pizzeria, and things quickly get scary with these possessed animatronics. It was a huge hit in theaters, making over $297 million worldwide – it’s actually Blumhouse’s biggest movie ever and the highest-grossing horror film of the year, even beating out films like The Nun II and Scream VI! Because it did so well, they’ve already announced Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which started streaming on Peacock on April 3rd, and I can’t wait!

I’m excited to hear that My Hero Academia is returning in May with a special new anime episode! It’s designed to be a final chapter, wrapping up the story from Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga. The episode jumps forward eight years, showing what life looks like for Deku and the rest of Class 1-A as adults. It’s a bit disappointing to learn it will be a standard 30-minute episode, but the official My Hero Academia accounts have confirmed it will fit right into the usual schedule.

Hopefully, it will also provide clarity on the often-confusing events of Khan’s Eugenics Wars, something many fans have been waiting for.
