PlayStation Gives Away Major PS5 Game for Free in PSN Error

Okay, so this is pretty cool! Apparently, there was a glitch on the PlayStation Network, and a bunch of PS5 and PS5 Pro owners – including me, thankfully! – accidentally got a free copy of Marathon, Bungie’s new shooter. Bungie, as you probably know, made the original Halo games and Destiny, so it’s a big deal! It normally costs $40, and it’s not even a freebie with PS Plus yet, so getting it for free was a sweet surprise. The glitch is fixed now, so you can’t get it that way anymore. Usually when stuff like this happens, PlayStation takes those free downloads away, but this time they’re letting us keep them! It’s awesome to see they’re letting players enjoy the game.
