Many games try to impress with long lists of features, but Directive 8020’s simplicity might actually be its greatest asset. It doesn’t seem like a major release for 2026 at first glance, but the more you look at what it’s aiming for, the more you realize it could become a surprisingly influential game and spark a lot of discussion.

The impact of each fight, the flow of the action, the dark mood of Gotham City, and the complex characters all combined to create a truly unique experience. It’s clear that every Batman game since has been compared to it, and few have even tried to reach that same level of quality. So, the thought of not getting another game like the Arkham series doesn’t feel like a temporary absence, but rather the closing of a significant era.

The game appears to offer two map options: a wider version and a square one. The wider map simply adds more surrounding land and sea. The square map, however, provides a closer view of the game world and confirms that the remake won’t drastically alter the original layout. Compared to the map in the original Black Flag, Resynced features the same land areas, though the overall size might be different, potentially offering more space to explore.

Starting May 1st, Hulu will add the original Star Wars trilogy – A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi – along with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to its streaming library. The original trilogy follows Luke Skywalker’s journey as he joins the Rebel Alliance to fight against the evil Galactic Empire, learns about the Force, and tries to save his father, Darth Vader, ultimately hoping to bring peace to the galaxy. Rogue One, released in 2016, tells the story of how the Rebel Alliance obtained the plans for the Death Star, acting as a prequel to the opening scenes of A New Hope and expanding on the events between Revenge of the Sith and the 1977 film.

The anime series Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a follow-up to the acclaimed Fullmetal Alchemist. The first few episodes created a sense of mystery and cleverly played with expectations. By the third episode, the show began to reveal the true nature of the twin characters, Yuru and Asa, and their destiny. While their story is becoming clearer, we still have questions about characters like Kagemori and why Asa is hostile towards Yuru and others. The latest episode shows Yuru taking a significant action, which will lead to a crucial meeting with Asa in the next episode and promises to expand the series’ backstory.

Episodes seven and eight largely focus on Maul and Devon evading the Imperial forces, now led by two Inquisitors, who are actively pursuing them. At the same time, the episodes continue to show Maul’s attempt to reclaim his power in the galaxy’s criminal organizations, starting with Janix. Having already removed the Pyke leader, Maul now receives a request for a meeting from Dryden Vos, the head of Crimson Dawn.

I’ve been checking out the game’s Reddit, and a bunch of us are warning each other about a really important thing! Apparently, there’s a mistake you can make that’s permanent, at least with this version of the game on the new Nintendo Switch 2. The developers, Game Freak and Omega Force, might fix it later, but right now, everyone needs to be super careful not to lose their relocation kits – it’s a big deal!

Vinit Agarwal, the game director for the project, has been talking about this more recently. In a social media post, he expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of The Last of Us’ multiplayer game, promising that his work won’t be abandoned again.
