Godzilla’s The Odyssey #1 Is a Pitch-Perfect Crossover Ahead of Nolan’s Blockbuster (Review)

Frank Tieri, Ilias Kyriazis, and Tom Sciolo take readers to ancient Greece and medieval England for the latest installment, an adaptation of The Odyssey. This installment is my favorite so far, taking the story we know and love and putting a fresh coat of Godzilla-colored paint on it. While the back-up story kind of takes away from the overall quality, this still an awesome comic.

Project Hail Mary’s Streaming Release Date Was Just Officially Confirmed (but There’s a Catch)

It was such a hit that Amazon MGM actually extended its theatrical window, delaying its debut on VoD and eventually streaming. Even the past weekend, it still pulled in almost $500k domestic across Friday-Sunday [via Box Office Mojo], which isn’t bad considering that was its twelfth(!) weekend, and it was already released on digital last month. Now, the time has come for it to start streaming, with it confirmed via a listing that it’ll be on Amazon’s subscription channel MGM+ (formerly Epix), from June 18th, 2026. The ad-free subscription service costs $7.99 per month.

One Piece is Getting a New Game in 2026 (And You Probably Missed It)

During a truly packed Nintendo Direct showcase on June 9th, we got a first look at One Piece: Grand Gourmet. This stunning pixel art game features over 400 characters from One Piece, and a premise that’s perfect for longtime fans and newcomers alike. One Piece: Grand Gourmet is a single-player cooking management sim, and it’s joining Bancho the Chefon my wishlist from this year’s Summer Game Fest lineup. Better yet, Grand Gourmet already has a release date. It will hit PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, iOS, and Android on October 23rd.

One of the 21st Century’s Best Movies Gets a Sequel With First Trailer for The Social Reckoning

That’s a high bar for the sequel to live up to, especially one without Fincher returning (Sorkin takes over directing duties for this). There’s also a major recast, with Jeremy Strong stepping into the role of Zuckerberg, which was played by Jesse Eisenberg in the original. As you’d expect from the Succession star, it looks like a rather unique take. Check out the trailer below:

Doctor Who Christmas Special’s Fate Confirmed by BBC After Major Shakeup

According to reports, the BBC has canceled the planned Doctor Who holiday special and is now looking for a new production company to handle the series. The BBC confirmed this move on Wednesday, explaining that Russell T. Davies, Julie Gardner, and Jane Tranter’s Bad Wolf production company are no longer leading the show’s creative direction.
