At the Miss Grand International pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 18th, a mix-up occurred where Miss Panama, Isamar Herrera, thought she had made the Top 20. It turned out the announcer had actually called Miss Paraguay, Cecilia Romero’s, name.
Starting November 1st, the first three Jurassic Park movies—Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III—will no longer be available on Netflix. These films follow the story of people trying to build a theme park populated by cloned dinosaurs. Steven Spielberg directed the first two installments, featuring Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, Joseph Mazzello, and Ariana Richards. Joe Johnston directed the third film, bringing back Sam Neill and Laura Dern as Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler from the original movie.
Before superhero movies were reliably successful, studios were hesitant to invest in them. One way to reduce the risk was to make animated versions, which typically cost less. Wildstorm Pictures believed in their comic book property, Gen¹³, enough to try and compete with the already-in-development X-Men film. Although Gen¹³ didn’t achieve the success its creators hoped for, it remains a significant, and often overlooked, part of early superhero movie history.
Following the addition of Jurassic World Rebirth in late October, Peacock will launch November with a wide variety of new films. This includes all three original Jurassic Park movies, the complete Men in Black series, and several Despicable Me films.

The Outer Worlds 2 continues the story of the well-loved 2019 RPG, offering a similar blend of humor and sharp political commentary often found in games like Fallout. This time, Obsidian Entertainment is building on everything players enjoyed in the first game – making the worlds bigger and more detailed, and giving players even more choices in how the story unfolds and how they develop their character.
James Gunn told YouTube creator Charlie Schneider that the John Waller series is still being developed. He mentioned that writers are currently working on the scripts and that the show will explore several aspects of the character’s story.

Mags Bennett, powerfully played by Margo Martindale, is the family matriarch – a woman who can offer both comforting kindness and deadly poison. Like Raylan, she’s defined by her heritage and understands the violent price of loyalty to this land. Many consider Season 2, featuring the Bennetts, to be the show’s peak, unmatched in its focused storytelling, suspense, and emotional impact.
She started by saying, with no hint of humor, that it’s ironic to categorize characters when the show’s goal from the beginning has been to avoid predictable stereotypes and clichés.
During an investor presentation in October 2025, IMAX announced many future films that will be shown in their theaters, including upcoming Marvel movies like Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to be released before those films, but wasn’t mentioned in the presentation.
