Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell Turn Kate Hudson’s Concert Into Date Night

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell didn’t go overboard with their recent date night.

After Christmas, Kate Hudson’s mother performed at her third annual concert in Aspen on December 27th. Photos published by Just Jared show her arriving at the Wheeler Opera House with Kurt, both bundled up for the cold. She wore a shimmering silver and black coat with fur trim, while he stayed close by her side.

The actor from Miracle dressed more casually in a suede coat and quarter-zip sweater, completing the look with a bolo tie and cowboy hat. Kate, on the other hand, wore a large fur coat when she arrived at the venue. She later performed songs from her 2024 album, Glorious, while wearing a long, red gown.

Kate Hudson, 46, has made performing in Aspen around the holidays a yearly tradition. This year, in addition to her usual shows, she’s also debuting new songs. Hudson has three children: 21-year-old Ryder Robinson with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, 14-year-old Bingham Bellamy with ex Matt Bellamy, and 7-year-old Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

Plus, she’ll be performing a duet with Hugh Jackman, who plays her husband in the upcoming movie about the Neil Diamond tribute band, Lightning & Thunder. The song they’ll perform is “Song Sung Blue”.

As she’s journeyed back into music both onscreen and off, Kate’s had her family by her side.

Kate’s family, including her mom, stepdad, and partner Danny, attended the New York City premiere of her film in early December, shortly before Christmas. Then, in Aspen, her brothers Oliver Hudson, 49, and Wyatt Russell, 39, along with Wyatt’s wife, Meredith Hagner, 38, gathered for a private screening of Song Sung Blue for Neil.

And for Kate, being on this musical ride has meant everything.
