The 1993 film Groundhog Day stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, a self-centered weatherman. He’s sent to a small town in Pennsylvania to report on the annual Groundhog Day tradition and Punxsutawney Phil, the famous groundhog whose shadow is said to predict the weather.
In a video message, the actor from The Devil Wears Prada praised the project highly. According to Variety, he described the scripts as “incredibly funny and weird.”
The recently released book, The Art of Star Wars: The Acolyte, features concept art of a “Jedi X-wing.” Though it differs somewhat from the X-wings in the original Star Wars films, it still has many familiar design elements. This version has its wings locked in attack position and includes a space for an astromech droid. Ultimately, the creators of The Acolyte decided to use the Jedi Vector ship from the High Republic stories, but this X-wing design hints at a potential and interesting change to established Star Wars history.
The fourth volume of Captain America started strong with what many consider one of the best stories in the character’s history. Issues #17-20 marked a significant shift in tone, moving away from the previously established style. While earlier issues were often larger in scope, this four-part story, titled “Cap Lives,” felt much more realistic. It takes place in an alternate reality where the Allies lost World War II after Captain America went missing. He’s discovered by the Nazis and awakens to find America under the control of the Red Skull. This storyline is a truly exceptional Captain America tale that deserves more recognition.

For the past ten years, director Mike Flanagan has frequently collaborated with horror legend Stephen King, creating a series of popular adaptations. Flanagan skillfully brings King’s stories to life, as seen in critically acclaimed films like Gerald’s Game and the sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep. Even when branching out from horror with The Life of Chuck, starring Tom Hiddleston, the project received positive reviews, demonstrating a strong creative connection between Flanagan and King. Looking ahead, Flanagan plans to continue this successful partnership by adapting more of King’s most famous works.
The reappearance of killers thought to be gone for good in Scream has sparked a lot of debate about what Scream 7 will be like. Some fans theorized the new movie would have a complex, self-aware layer, potentially allowing actors like Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich to play versions of themselves within the Stab movies shown inside the Scream universe. However, writer Kevin Williamson now suggests Scream 7 will move away from the core elements that have defined the franchise.
Fathom Entertainment is bringing the classic film Ocean’s Eleven back to theaters in June 2026 as part of its Big Screen Classics series. The film will be shown on June 21st and 24th. Other movies included in the 2026 line-up are Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind, Ben-Hur, The Silence of the Lambs, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Birdcage, A Beautiful Mind, The Fifth Element, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Maltese Falcon, and It’s a Wonderful Life. Film historian Leonard Maltin will once again host the series, providing special introductions that celebrate each film’s importance.
