Sony has officially announced the PS Plus Essential lineup of monthly games for January 2026.
We already had a sneak peek at one of the games, but now we know the full list of titles coming next month! Members can get them starting January 6th, 2026, and they’ll be available until February 2nd.
They are:
- Need for Speed Unbound (PS5) | Review
- Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Core Keeper (PS5, PS4)
Need for Speed Unbound is the game fans have been expecting: a fast-paced, open-world racing experience. It stands out with its unique art style, but it’s a fun game even without it.
In our 8/10 review, we found Need for Speed Unbound to be a strong arcade racer that revitalizes the series. While it’s not perfect, the handling is excellent, and the single-player campaign is captivating, offering a balanced challenge from both police pursuits and rival racers.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is an updated version of the popular platforming game, aiming to improve the original experience with some modern features. In our review, we gave it a 7/10, noting that it’s “still a fun platformer with beautiful art.” While the combat and exploration can still feel repetitive, the Rebrushed updates help address these issues.
We haven’t yet written a review for Core Keeper, but you can find more information about the game on its page, linked above.
