Harriet

Age: 52
Job: Crime writer and former barrister
Location: London
I’ve been watching ‘The Traitors,’ and honestly, it’s one of the few reality shows I feel like I could actually play well. I used to be a criminal barrister, and now I write crime novels, so I think I’ve got a decent read on people and how to spot a liar – which definitely comes in handy when trying to figure out who the traitors are!
She explained that her work involves creating fictional deaths and writing about characters who die, saying, ‘I essentially invent terrible ways for people to die, but only within the stories I write.’
The appeal is being able to experience the thrill of solving crimes or devising plans – like tracking a killer – without any real-world harm. Honestly, it sounds perfect.
Stephen

Age: 32
Job: Cyber security consultant
Location: London
Stephen is a big fan of The Traitors and has been revisiting old episodes. He’s doing this to refresh his memory and analyze the contestants’ behaviors – specifically, things they did that seemed ordinary to them but struck others as strange.
Judy

Age: 60
Job: Child Liaison Officer
Location: Doncaster
Judy decided to apply for The Traitors because she felt confident she’d be good at it and viewed it as a fantastic experience, especially at this stage in her life.
Honestly, I just have a feeling this is going to be an absolutely incredible experience – something I know I’ll never, ever get to do again. It feels truly special.
Ross

Age: 37
Job: Sales exec and personal trainer
Location: London
After some of his clients started talking about The Traitors, Ross applied for the show on a whim.
When asked about his strengths for the show, Ross explained that he believes he’s good at reading people. He’s looking forward to what he described as a fun, interesting, and exciting experience.
Ellie

Age: 33
Job: Psychologist
Location: London
I’m totally hooked on The Traitors! What I love most is how psychologically fascinating it is. I spend the whole time trying to figure out what everyone else is thinking and why they believe what they do – it’s hilarious when they’re so sure of something that’s obviously not true from my perspective as a viewer!
It was from that, she knew she “had to get involved” and understand the game for herself.
Netty

Age: 42
Job: Nursery school teacher
Location: Glasgow
As a huge fan of games, I totally get why Netty’s obsessed with The Traitors – it’s seriously one of the best! She just really wanted to create something special for herself and have a blast while doing it.
She admitted her motivation was simply wanting to enjoy herself and rediscover who she was. She loves learning about others, and she’s really looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone.
Fiona

Age: 62
Job: Local government officer
Location: Swansea
Fiona hadn’t tried out for a show like The Traitors before, but she decided to apply because she’s a big fan.
She said she actually enjoys the show, despite not usually being a fan of reality TV. She believes it stands out because it’s a strategic game that requires both social skills and understanding how people think, which she found really appealing.
Jessie

Age: 28
Job: Hairstylist
Location: Hull
Jessie applied for The Traitors to challenge herself and allow her to meet new people.
“I know it will test me,” she said. “Which is good and what I need.”
Rachel

Age: 42
Job: Head of communications
Location: County Down
Rachel has been playing Mafia for fifteen years and is extremely competitive, so she decided to try out The Traitors.
She was determined to win, and willing to do whatever it takes. She understands the line between what’s real and what’s just part of the competition.
Amanda

Age: 57
Job: Retired police detective
Location: Brighton
Amanda was hooked on The Traitors as soon as she saw it and felt confident she could be successful.
I’ve noticed she’s incredibly skilled at getting to the heart of things. Because she used to be a detective, she’s interviewed so many people – both criminals and those they’ve hurt – and it’s given her a real knack for figuring out what’s really going on and spotting when someone isn’t being honest.
She explained that being deceitful requires strong skills in lying, maintaining a calm exterior, and skillfully diverting attention to avoid detection. She admitted to gaining considerable experience in being deceptive, underhanded, and clever.
However, I genuinely want to help others, which is why I became a police officer. The job requires you to remain friendly and composed, even in stressful situations. I believe I can apply these qualities to any role I’m given.
Hugo

Age: 51
Job: Barrister
Location: London
Hugo freely admits he’s a huge fan of “The Traitors.” He’s watched every version of the show from the UK, US, Australia, and New Zealand, and says he finds the game incredibly captivating.
As a barrister, I’m used to presenting arguments to juries, but they deliberate privately, so I never see their reactions. This is different – it’s astonishing how anyone could misjudge something so completely. I find it captivating and can’t look away.
Jade

Age: 25
Job: PhD Student
Location: West Midlands
Jade is a big fan of games like The Traitors, so when she saw the opportunity to apply for the show, she immediately thought, “Why not?”
Sam

Age: 34
Job: Account manager
Location: North Yorkshire
Sam loves the show The Traitors, calling it a refreshing and genuinely enjoyable experience. He also notes it’s packed with emotion, strategy, and fierce competition.
He said the opportunity felt like a good fit for who he is, and right now he’s focused on making the most of life. He entered the competition without much planning, and now he’s thrilled to be involved.
Adam

Age: 34
Job: Builder
Location: Essex
Adam thrives on challenges and enjoys the mental stimulation of competition. He’s determined to win.
“That’s it, simple,” he said. “I’ll play whatever hand I need to play and that’s it.”
Reece

Age: 27
Job: Sweet shop assistant
Location: Sheffield
Reece is naturally competitive and decided to join the show – it’s not every day someone gets to be on The Traitors!
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever tackled something this original before, and as someone who always wants to push myself, I’m really eager to see how far I can take it. It’s a thrilling challenge!
Maz

Age: 59
Job: Civil servant
Location: Preston
Maz is a big fan of everything about The Traitors – from the challenges to the discussions and the bonds formed between players – which is why he decided to apply.
I’m 59 years old and I’ve had a pretty full life, so I like to think I’ve learned a thing or two along the way. I feel like all those experiences have really given me a good perspective.
People tell me I’m easygoing and have a good sense of humor – though my kids joke about my appearance! I’m hoping to bring some laughter, relaxed vibes, and interesting perspectives to the show, and contribute positively to the overall dynamic.
Faraaz

Age: 22
Job: Internal auditor
Location: Middlesbrough
Faraaz applied to be on The Traitors because he’s a big fan of the show. After enjoying the first series, he felt it would be a fun and engaging experience to participate in.
Roxy

Age: 32
Job: Recruiter
Location: Amsterdam
Roxy had a challenging first six years, but she thinks those experiences – learning to adjust to new environments, meet people, and decide who to trust – will be a major asset on the show.
Matthew

Age: 35
Job: Creative director
Location: Edinburgh
Matthew decided his New Year’s resolution would be to be more adventurous. He envisioned things like hiking, canoeing, and camping, but he also spontaneously applied for the reality show, The Traitors.
Jack

Age: 29
Job: Personal trainer
Location: Essex
Jack really loves The Traitors and decided he wanted to challenge himself by trying something new and uncomfortable.
Jack thinks it’s crucial to be fully engaged and focused, no matter your role – whether you’re trying to uncover the traitors or working as one of the faithful.
He warned that a single mistake could be disastrous. He emphasized the need for complete focus, both physically and mentally.
Ben

Age: 66
Job: Retired
Location: Hampshire
Ben was “intrigued” after watching The Traitors, having never seen anything like it.
I was completely captivated and kept comparing it to the classic detective work of Columbo and Agatha Christie, imagining they were on the hunt for the betrayer, Judas.
James

Age: 38
Job: Gardener
Location: Weymouth
James didn’t start watching The Traitors until the second season “because people nagged [him]”.
He’s eager to excel at the game and is bringing his enthusiasm and playful, nerdy personality to the show.
“It’s like a beautiful lovechild of Midsomer Murders and poker,” he said.
