Okay, so Netflix just couldn’t handle the heat! For the second time this season, the streaming service went down, and wouldn’t you know it, it happened right as everyone was trying to watch the final episode of Stranger Things. Let’s just say a lot of viewers were more frustrated than scared during those last few minutes.
Fans are upset and rushing to social media to see if the streamer is currently unavailable. They’re even more frustrated this time, especially since the first episode also caused technical difficulties. Right now, viewers just want reassurance that the problem isn’t on their end and that the service will be working again soon.

Right now, all Netflix users can do is be patient while the service recovers. Some people are already successfully logging in and watching shows. Luckily, the service seems to be returning quickly for many, often within just a few minutes.
But not everyone had a smooth experience, which was particularly disappointing for dedicated fans who had planned watch parties or canceled New Year’s Eve plans to see Eleven and her friends take on Vecna.
