Shall we let you in to a little secret: you’re in the future right now.

If you’re reading this in 2026, we wrote it back in 2025. It makes you wonder what the future holds! Do we have flying cars now? Has the PlayStation 6 been revealed? It’s exciting to think about all the possibilities.

We all pretty much expect the next year to follow the same pattern as last year, but for PlayStation fans, that’s definitely a positive. 2025 already had a huge number of exciting game releases, and the next 12 months are looking even busier!

The start of the year is already incredible for gamers! We’re getting three major releases – Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, Resident Evil Requiem, and 007 First Light – in just the next few weeks. It’s a huge wave of great new games.

We set some specific goals for our website last year, but we don’t feel that’s needed this time. We’re confident we understand what you want from us, and it matches what we’re aiming for: to be the top destination for finding information about, learning about, and talking about PlayStation. It’s pretty straightforward, really.

Looks like it’s going to be an awesome year to be a PlayStation fan! I’m expecting the PS5 to really hit its stride, and honestly, I think we’ll start hearing more and more about the PS6 too. It feels like the next generation is just around the corner!

Even with highly anticipated games like Marvel’s Wolverine and GTA 6 on the horizon, exciting surprises are always in store. We’re eager to reveal them when the time is right.

So, yeah, just wanted to say Happy New Year! Thanks for hanging out with us and making this a great way to kick off the new year – it means a lot that you chose to spend it gaming with us.
