The BBC recently revealed fresh snapshots for the third season of Here We Go, as well as disclosing the roster of celebrity appearances in upcoming episodes of this beloved family comedy series.
This comedy show, penned by Tom Basden, chronicles the humorous mishaps of the Jessop family members – mother Rachel (Katherine Parkinson, known for Rivals), father Paul (Jim Howick, recognized from Ghosts) and grandmother Sue (Alison Steadman, famously seen in Gavin & Stacey).
In the third episode, titled “Robin’s LARP Festival,” Rachel’s clumsy brother (portrayed by the show’s creator Basden) will lead the Jessops to a live-action roleplaying gathering. This event features participants dressing up and engaging in activities such as drinking mead and staging mock battles in the forest.
In the image displayed, you can notice their remarkable costuming endeavors. On the far right-hand side is Robin’s partner, Cherry (portrayed by Tori Allen-Smith), who dons a grand attire, given her pregnant state. Meanwhile, on the far left-hand side, there’s a striking transformation in the character of Tom Gaskin, portrayed by My Lady Jane.
In the third season of Here We Go, Gaskin is among several special guests. The renowned actress Jane Horrocks takes on the character of Ethel Ticehurst, who becomes Sue’s competitor in an intense game of Uno. (Refer to the description below for more details.)

For the third season of Here We Go, we have invited Robert Glenister (known for Sherwood), Jamali Maddix (famous from Hate Thy Neighbour), Susannah Fielding (well-known in This Time With Alan Partridge) and Seb Cardinal (renowned from Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy).
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Jon Furlong (Adolescence) and Ed Kear (The Batman) will be reprising their roles as Jelson and Dean in the upcoming project! Additionally, Sunil Patel (Mandy), Kevin ‘KG’ Garry (Ted Lasso), Kathryn Drysdale (Bridgerton), and Stevie Martin (Taskmaster) are also joining the cast. What an exciting lineup!
The previews for Robin’s LARP Festival and Granny’s Uno Hustle hint at more developments in the series’ plotlines, such as Paul taking on the role of a trusted ‘partner’ to a new police recruit. The previews express sympathy for Paul with “Oh poor fellow.
In the fifth episode, it’s hinted that Amy, Jessop’s daughter played by Freya Parks, and her partner Maya (Mica Ricketts), are experiencing some difficulties in their relationship. This situation provides an opportunity for Rachel to put her counseling skills into practice.
If you’re eager to find out how things go horribly awry, don’t forget to catch Here We Go season 3, coming up this month!
