Even while still going through his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady was already accustomed to hearing rumors about his personal life.

Speaking at a Buccaneers press conference in September 2022, shortly before news of his divorce from Gisele became public, the NFL quarterback said that dealing with public scrutiny is simply part of his life. He explained that because he and his family are constantly in the public eye, he’s long been accustomed to it.

On New Year’s Day, the 48-year-old shared lyrics from Lil’ Wayne’s song “Let It All Work Out” on his Instagram Stories. The quote read, “People aren’t beautiful because of their looks or how they talk, but because of how they love, show they care, and treat others.”

Before he became a football superstar, Tom Brady briefly dated actress Tara Reid in the early 2000s. Reid told Bustle in 2023 that their relationship was casual and fun – they’d go out to bars, dance, and enjoy each other’s company. They met at the ESPY Awards and simply started spending time together, exchanging phone numbers. Reid also playfully mentioned to NBC Sports Boston in 2022 that Brady was a “great kisser.” This was before her engagement and eventual split from Carson Daly.

In 2004, after Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, he began dating actress Bridget Moynahan. They appeared to be a glamorous and happy couple, attending high-profile events like the Met Gala and the Oscars together. In a 2005 interview with 60 Minutes, Tom shared that he felt completely comfortable being himself around Bridget, saying she was one of his closest and best friends.

Kim Kardashian even joked about the rumors during Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady. She said she almost didn’t attend the 2024 comedy special because she wasn’t Tom’s date, and playfully suggested she’d never confirm or deny the dating rumors, but would instead “release the tape” if they were true.

Despite ongoing speculation, Tom was connected to Irina Shayk after they were seen together in Los Angeles during the summer of 2023. However, rumors of a romance quickly faded, with reports surfacing in the fall that they had already broken up. Interestingly, they were later photographed together again in December.

Rumors about Sofía Vergara and Tom Holland dating resurfaced in July 2025 after Vergara shared photos from a party on a yacht, including a picture of her and Holland with J Balvin. However, after the Daily Mail reported, citing a source, that Holland intended to remain single and considered Vergara too old for him, his representative quickly denied the claims.

According to a representative, Tom would never make a statement like this, and the claim is completely false, as they told People magazine on July 10th.
