The new year is here, promising a lot of fun events over the next 365 days. It’s not just about the many movie sequels planned for 2026, either! We’re anticipating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, potentially in June, and Zendaya will celebrate her 30th birthday in September while reportedly planning a wedding with Tom Holland.
In fact, there are quite a few former child stars who were born in 1996 and will celebrate a milestone birthday this year. Let’s take a look at some of the celebrities who will be “30, flirty and thriving” in 2026:
Zendaya
Zendaya started her career as a model and singer, appearing in commercials and with KidzBop. She gained recognition starring in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up in 2010. Since then, she’s become an award-winning actress, earning two Emmys and a Golden Globe for her role in the HBO drama Euphoria. As her birthday approaches on September 1st, she has several exciting projects on the horizon, including Dune: Part Three and The Odyssey.
Tom Holland
It’s hard to believe, but Tom Holland is also hitting a major milestone – thirty years old on June 1st! I remember when he first caught my eye in the emotionally raw The Impossible back in 2012, a fantastic transition from his dance and theater background. Of course, 2016 was his breakout year, swinging into action as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, and he hasn’t looked back since. This year promises to be huge for him, with a role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and, excitingly, he’s back as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He’s quickly become one of the most engaging actors working today.
Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld first gained widespread recognition in 2010 with her role in the Coen brothers’ film, True Grit, which earned her an Academy Award nomination. This year, in addition to turning 30 on December 11th, Steinfeld is expecting her first child with her husband, Josh Allen. Allen, an NFL star, will also celebrate his 30th birthday on May 21st.
Hailey Bieber
Hailey Bieber, who comes from a well-known family (the Baldwins), is likely to have a big celebration when she turns 30 on November 22nd. She started modeling as a teen and has since become a successful model, influencer, and founder of a popular skincare line. She and her husband, Justin Bieber, have a son together.
Paul Mescal
Paul Mescal has quickly become a rising star, and his performance in the film Hamnet has earned him a Golden Globe nomination. He’ll find out if he’s won the award before his 30th birthday on February 2nd.
Paul Mescal began his acting career on stage and gained recognition on television in 2020 with the series Normal People. He’s now set to play Paul McCartney in a new four-part film series about The Beatles, titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event.
Normani
Normani, who rose to prominence with the group Fifth Harmony, will turn another year older on May 31st. This birthday comes almost a year after she released her debut solo album, Dopamine.
Lili Reinhart
Most people recognize Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper from the show Riverdale. However, before landing that role, the actress – who will be 30 years old on September 13th – appeared in films like The Good Neighbor and The Kings of Summer, and even had a part on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Abigail Breslin
It’s amazing to realize Abigail Breslin is only 30 years old – it feels like we’ve been watching her grow up on screen for ages! The actress who starred in Signs will be celebrating a milestone birthday on April 14th, which is a reminder of how quickly time passes. Since then, she’s had a successful career, earning Oscar and BAFTA nominations for her work in Little Miss Sunshine, and appearing in popular projects like Zombieland, Scream Queens, and even an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Dove Cameron
Dove Cameron, known for her roles as the dual character in Liv and Maddie and as Mal in the Descendants films, is turning 30 on January 15th. She’s another former Disney Channel star reaching this milestone.

Skyler Gisondo
Skyler Gisondo, who recently played Jimmy Olsen in the 2025 film Superman, is also well-known for his role as Eric in Santa Clarita Diet. With around 75 acting credits under his belt, he’s celebrating his 30th birthday on July 22nd, having started his career with appearances on shows like Everybody Loves Raymond back in 2005. This year, he’ll be starring alongside Ariana Grande in Focker In-Law, the newest installment in the Meet the Parents series with Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy began acting as a teenager and has since become known for roles in popular projects like The Queen’s Gambit, which earned her a Golden Globe, and The Menu. This year, she’s celebrating her 30th birthday on April 16th and will return as Alia Atreides in Dune: Part Three.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh has quickly become a well-known actress since starting her career in 2014. Sophie Turner
It’s surprising to think Sansa Stark, known from Game of Thrones, will turn 30 on February 21st, 2026. While Game of Thrones was where she started, she’s continued acting and will soon star as Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider series.
Noah Centineo
I first noticed Noah Centineo way back in 2011 when he was on Austin & Ally. He kept popping up in Disney Channel shows after that, and I really started to become a fan when he joined The Fosters in 2015. Of course, everyone knows him now as Peter Kavinsky from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and it was fun to see him expand that world with XO, Kitty. More recently, I enjoyed his work in The Recruit, and I’m excited to see what he does with his upcoming projects in 2026 – though I’m also wondering what he has planned for his 30th birthday on May 9!
