Superman Steals Its Climax From Another DC Movie

In the world of Superman, Clark Kent finds himself consistently facing obstacles. Initially, he faces defeat at the hands of the Hammer of Boravia, who resents any outside interference in his nation’s matters. The Mighty Superman is puzzled by the existence of a metahuman stronger than him in Boravia and suspects Lex Luthor’s involvement. However, before he can reveal Luthor’s scheme, the villain preempts him by broadcasting a video message from Superman’s parents that portrays him as an invader rather than a savior. The public swiftly turns against their beloved hero, yet Superman remains steadfast and refuses to reciprocate their hostility.

Following their getaway from Lex’s cosmic prison and recuperating at the Kent household, Superman heads back to Metropolis, prepared to defend his city using any method available. However, Lex Luthor makes things challenging as he dispatches Ultraman, The Engineer, and the Raptors towards his adversary. In response, Superman receives aid from Krypto and Mister Terrific. The trio combines their forces to secure victory, as Lex resorts to risky tactics, mimicking the strategies of another infamous DC antagonist.

Lex Luthor Is Prepared to Destroy Metropolis in Superman

As I reflect upon the latest blockbuster film, I can’t help but share my thoughts as a movie-loving connoisseur. After waking up in his childhood home, our hero, Superman, engages in a heartfelt conversation with his father that resonates deeply about life’s values. Determined to stand firm against Lex and any other adversaries seeking to control him, he sets out for Jarhanpur, ready to thwart the Boravian invasion.

However, just before embarking on this crucial mission, a call from Mister Terrific alerts him of a catastrophic situation in Metropolis – a dimensional rift causing widespread chaos. Lex exploits this calamity as bait for one final showdown against Superman. Despite his minions urging him to retreat, our hero remains resolute, enlisting the aid of Ultraman and the Engineer to contain the rift and save Metropolis from impending doom.

Despite their persistent efforts, the villains won’t manage to keep Superman subdued indefinitely. Eventually, when they are defeated, Superman pays a visit to Lex inside his mobile headquarters. Instead of closing the portal and surrendering, Lex attempts to escape through a nearby one. However, Superman isn’t willing to let him go so easily, and he blocks Lex’s advance while Mr. Terrific seals the rift and repairs Metropolis as well as possible. It’s not the first time a DC city has been divided on screen.

Joker Takes Things Too Far in The LEGO Batman Movie

In “The LEGO Batman Movie,” the portrayal of The Dark Knight is self-centered, often neglecting his friends. He’s dismissive towards his adversaries, including even his arch-nemesis, the Joker. Initially, the Joker fails to capture Batman’s interest in the movie, causing irritation. Spurred by this frustration, the Joker devises a plot for retaliation against Batman. His initial move is to surrender himself, an action that perplexes Batman but he ultimately agrees to. The Joker is then sent to the Phantom Zone, where he assembles a force of villains eager to cause chaos in Gotham.

In the fierce fight that followed, the Joker transports Batman into another dimension called the Phantom Zone, where he confronts his past errors. Upon return, he endeavors to mend fences with everyone, even the Joker, but it’s too late as bombs set off by the villain throughout Gotham detonate, causing widespread destruction. Instead of fleeing like Lex Luthor, however, the Joker chooses to stay and aid the citizens of Gotham in rebuilding their homes. Regrettably, Lex didn’t get a chance for redemption in Superman, but there is still an opportunity for him to cultivate kindness and form a connection with Superman, similar to the Joker’s friendship with Batman in The LEGO Batman Movie.

Superman is in theaters now.
