Charles Melton Expecting First Baby With Camille Summers-Valli

Charles Melton is taking on a big new role: dad. 

Madelaine Petsch, known for her role in Riverdale, and Camille Summers-Valli are expecting their first child. Summers-Valli, a music video director, announced the news on Instagram January 3rd with photos of herself and Petsch, sharing they are “making a lil family.”

TopMob News has contacted Charles’s representatives for comment on Camille’s pregnancy, but they haven’t responded yet.

Charles and Camille have generally kept their relationship to themselves, but Camille recently shared photos revealing they’re expecting a baby. One picture shows Charles kissing her stomach, and another captures a sweet moment of them at the doctor’s office – Charles lying on the floor beside Camille while she’s on the examination table.

Everyone was shocked and delighted by the announcement. Michael Gandolfini, who worked with Charles on Warfare, even commented, “Mom and dad!!! Love you both so much.”

Charles is becoming a father with Camille, following previous relationships that received media attention. He was linked to Chloe Bennet in 2023 and Chase Sui Wonders in 2022. Before that, he had a well-publicized on-again, off-again relationship with his Riverdale co-star, Camila Mendes, from 2018 to 2021.

During their romance, Charles admitted that he loved writing notes to his then-girlfriend. 

In 2019, Charles told Glamour that there’s a unique charm to receiving a letter. He explained that it’s a thoughtful way to show someone you care without feeling pressured to constantly be on their mind.

Camila, who became engaged to Rudy Mancuso in October after dating for three years, recently shared how challenging it was to continue working with her ex on the famous Archie comics after they split up.

Camila confessed on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard that the on-screen romance with her co-star was awkward. She explained that whenever she and her co-star began to develop feelings for each other in real life, their characters would coincidentally start dating on the show. This happened naturally, and the writers were unaware of what was happening behind the scenes.

As for when the pair split for good, though, Camila assured, “It ended very peacefully.”
