Mark Gatiss’s new detective drama Bookish release date confirmed

The series will begin on Wednesday 16th July at 8pm, with a double-bill to kick things off.

In the thrilling, turbulent, and unpredictable backdrop of post-war London in 1946 unfolds this fresh, captivating detective series. The charismatic and clever Gabriel Book (Gatiss) plays the lead role: an unconventional consultant detective who is deeply entwined in the narrative.

His book-filled store offers him a wealth of information, enabling him to tackle and unravel the trickiest of mysteries.

The series “Bookish” has shown promising signs even prior to its debut, as it was renewed for a second season before the first one even aired.

Regarding the update about its renewal, Gatiss expressed his excitement in a statement: “I’m delighted that the crew at U&alibi is giving me another chance to delve back into the realm of Bookish and devise even more intricate mysteries for Gabriel Book and his team to unravel.
